gi333
Hi. I was wondering if by booking for 6 45 my dining time you were able to still show up before your reservation for earlier seating if possible? The earliest I can book is 6:45 for my dining and if I take traditional seating it's 5:45. I found maybe 6:30 would be perfect in between. Thanks for your help
AshleyDillo
They start seating MTD walk-ups as soon as the early dining folks are done eating, so it is possible if you go as a walk-up they can get you in earlier.
WAAAYTOOO
I only have 2 data points since I’ve only resumed MTD very recently, but on both Grandeur and Symphony, if you show up before 6:45, you stand in line until 6:45. Perhaps some ships are being more “fluid” with the MTD reboot, but not on the 2 ships I’ve sailed recently Pooch and RCIfan1912
gi333
I'm struggling to know what's best. Usually how long is dinner? 1 hour? Are you going to have enough time to go to the shows after? What's the best with kids? Thanks
BennyandBo
With kids I would just take the 545 time. No waiting in lines. MTD has been called basically a **** show lately. After a long full day kids don't want to wait too long. And really the difference between 545 guarantee seating and the 630 you are hoping for is not worth the hassle. gi333
So basically the Early dining is not available so I am on waiting list. Right now i am booked for 6 45 my time. On a waiting list for Early dining. Now I just have to plan accordingly for show's. Hopefully I can make it to A 8h30 Show. I would hope that we can finish in a hour time. With My Time Dining, your family/travel party will get your own table so you won't be waiting on anyone else. With early dining, you may be sitting with others. (Note those are the defaults but not 100% guaranteed and can depend on what size table you need.) The good news is that every show is walking distance from the dining room so you don't have to worry about much travel time like at home. We don't do much sitting around, order, eat and go

FireFishII
When you first get on board, you may want to ask at the dining room if you can get into the early dining. Sometimes people will cancel. Good luck. Xaa
KJones
Ask at the dining room when you board to try to switch to early dining. If you can't and you stick with MTD, tell your waiter that you have a show that night and they'll try to speed up service.
