Zville Cruzers
We are booked on Harmony of the Seas in June in 2024. This is the first time sailing out of Galveston. What is the best Pre cruise hotel to stay in?

However on the ride back to the airport we saw this hotel and plan to stay here the next time we cruise from Galveston. It’s next to a Buccee’s and an Outlet Mall,so has enough for us to check out for the one day before a cruise. Good luck! https://www.marriott.com/reservation/rateListMenu.mi?scid=b9e45c84-5019-4753-a0d0-5a9612c9a3cf&dclid=CIPFi4msmPwCFY2qwAodJx4FCg&defaultTab=standard

However, there's major road construction on I 45 that makes access very difficult northbound.

The rooms are older, but service was great. The restaurant/bar was nice, and they even had live music at night. However, don't book through Royal as they overcharge -- go directly to IHG. (What the hotel received for a night was about one-half of what Royal charged us. The published internet rate would have been significantly lower than Royal's rate.) However, there are a ziliion hotels on Seawall, so you have many choices. We anticipated walking down to the Strand, but the cold weather arrived too quickly. bluebayou
We normally stay in Hilton properties. One thing I realized on our DCL cruise earlier this month is no matter what, we end up having to buy forgotten items the morning of the cruise. This time we stayed at a neat Bed and Breakfast in the Strand area. Ended up driving to the Walmart on the sea wall. I regretted not just staying at the Hampton inn across from Walmart.
