PG Cruiser
Has anyone parked on an uncovered lot next to the terminal in Port Canaveral? My group will be riding a Ford Transit 350 to the Port. Vertical clearance in the parking building is only 8'2". I can't seem to get definitive info on this. Off-site parking is an option but we would like to park at the Terminal as much as possible.

I know there is an uncovered overflow lot next to Terminal 1 but I can't tell you anything more about it as I always park in the garage. Allen2
Suggestion: try calling the Port of Canaveral. (321) 783-7831.

Yes, I parked at an overflow lot before. I was told it was employee parking but they use it for overflow. It was for a Disney cruise. I wonder if the Royal Terminal has the same SOP. I tried calling this number before (for another matter), they did not pick up. I think redialing for an entire morning makes me a pretty persistent caller. lol Today, I tried calling it again. Matt
I parked there once because garage was full. There's usually a person standing at entrance to the garage who could direct you elsewhere because the road splits.
Geoff P
We just parked in the overflow lot in September because we had my truck rather than my wife’s car, they direct you where to go and there was a free shuttle there to bring you right to the terminal building if you didn’t want to walk WAAAYTOOO
twangster
There are a couple of outdoor lots next to the garage that do double duty as overflow when the garage is full. As a last resort there is also field parking overflow for when T1 is really busy.

There will be a traffic person directing traffic entering the drop area. Stop and ask them. PG Cruiser
