biggie
Hello to all, The wife and I will be going on our 2nd cruise in February on Independence of the Seas and was wondering if anyone has taken the ON A ROLL SUSHI MAKING CLASS ? Was just curious if 35 bucks a person is it worth it and was it fun.. Thanks for reading and for any answer you guys or gals might have
WAAAYTOOO
We’ve done the sushi-making class twice and enjoyed it both times. If you enjoy eating sushi chances are you will enjoy making sushi. You get to eat everything you make ! SpeedNoodles
SteveinSC
Never been to the class, but I have been to a sushi making "party" and my wife and I loved it. Id pay 35 on a cruise to be taught by professionals to do it again. You roll, you eat, you roll, you eat.....sign me up! Neesa
Kathleen
We just recently attended the Sushi Rolling Class on Ovation and loved it. You make a good amount of Sushi that you get to eat, so that in and of itself was worth the cost to us. We highly recommend it. We were given the recipes in instruction form and have done it at home also.

sabarwolf
We heard from those who took the class on our last sailing to go in hungry and don't book it around a meal (before/after).
Psycho and Barb
Its a great class. You get to make several types of sushi and not just the traditional sushi rolls. We made Nigiri (A topping, usually fish, served on top of sushi rice), Temaki (Sushi that has been hand-rolled into a cone shape), both Maki and Uramaki which are both rolls...Difference is the seaweed on the inside or on the outside. It was a lot of sushi and filled us up. They wouldn't let anyone in our group take their creations with them...Said health reasons.

Rollercoaster
Worth it! My 10 year old daughter (at the time) absolutely had a blast! The sushi was yummy, too!
