Momof4crazytocruise
I changed my whole passport after I checked in, and nobody cared I can't imagine this will be an issue. But, couldn't hurt to call. I think as long as the name matches the reservation, you should be good to go. A.connell97

Only if you booked a resident rate and you mover to a different state. I would notify RCI though. A.connell97
Matt
My guess is no one at RC cares about an address change unless it would to mess up your billing for an upcoming payment. A.connell97

If you have time before your cruise you might want to redo your check in and get a new setsail pass.

Okay thanks! I’ll do that just to play it safe. I’ve got 48 days till cruise day!

Was there a price difference to get the real ID and is it mandatory?

Real ID is just a minimum standard of security for IDs. Your passport is Real ID compliant. A Real ID drivers license cost depends on the state. My state just came out with Real ID on its drivers license a few months ago. It will be required to have a Real ID to fly after 1 October 2020. In California, it varies between $28 or $36 - though I don't recall what the determining factor is.

If you belong to Crown and Anchor, you might check your profile. I can't remember what it contains, but I thought it had a mailing address. twangster
So if I haven’t upgraded to a Real ID does that make my state issued ID a fake ID?

I had a Real ID and didn't realize it. Some states have already been issuing them - Texas started in 2016. A Real ID driver's license has a gold circle with a star inside it in the upper right corner. Enjoy your cruise!
