I have only been on the Allure and the Liberty and what I have found is that freedom class onboard shows are not reserved ahead of time. You either go to the first or second show time each night, each night is a different show.

This is true.   Only the O and Q class ships offer prior reservations to production shows. You should be able to reserve special “activities “ such as cupcake decorating or sushi making classes but the shows are first come first served on Freedom and below ship classes.

 We are sailing on the Harmony in June.   Went through My Cruises and signed up for the shows yesterday.  Not sure when that became available because this was the first time we tired to sign up for the shows.  Good luck!

I think another reason for the inconsistency is that I believe the reservations are released in "blocks" rather than at a set number of days like the eDocs and luggage tags are.
