It's available, just not something that you can book as an activity through the cruise line.
Activity board, maybe?

Great customer service so far. They've reached out to us regarding our arrival time and made suggestions about our traveling from the airport in Bologna to Ravenna as well as from the B&B to the port on our embarkation day.
Thanks again!!!
You're very welcome!

We took the shuttle from Venice to Ravenna and here's how it worked. We showed up at the designated meeting place. There were representatives waiting who took our names. We boarded our assigned bus and when it was full, we were on our way.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone else get an email today with a survey regarding the MDR menu? What did you think?

Update: For some reason, neither my wife nor I could sleep (3 am our time) so we looked at more lodging options. We booked at the B&B you recommended in your other post, the M Club De Luxe B&B
Thank you for the recommendation. We found lots of other positive reviews online.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

It's located off of the Windjammer and basically is overflow seating for the Windjammer. It has a nice view of the ocean and as @twangsterstated has a full bar. It was manned when we cruised last month. When we dine in the Windjammer, it's our go to for seating.

Well, we decided to fly into Bologna rather than Venice. A big part of the decision to do this was the train from Bologna Central goes directly to Ravenna with no changes required. We’ll spend three nights in Ravenna before we board the ship.
Did you choose a hotel In Ravenna yet?

I think this is a case where a few people are wrecking a good experience for the rest of us.
Unfortunately, as with most things in life.

A grasshopper walks into a bar and asks for a drink. The bartender tells him, "I'm going to make you a drink named after you," to which the grasshopper replies. "You have a drink named Steve?"

Interesting menu! I am considering this for my 2023 July cruise. The price is $49.99/pp. Is this the standard price across the board?
That's what is was priced at last month. We got 20% off from our Chops server who was selling the brunch one morning in the MDR.

Hello! The Sip Tour Brunch just became available for our cruise and my wife and I think it sounds really fun and interesting. We are wondering if anyone knows what is typically offered for brunch. We would be doing this with are 9 and 6 yr old who are sometimes picky eaters. Would this tour be better suited on a future cruise with older kids?
Thanks!
There wasn't anything on the menu that I would consider kid friendly. The other question would be if they allowed children to tour the back of the house galley area. There weren't any kids at our brunch, or on our cruise for that matter at the beginning of last month. Maybe somebody who has been on a cruise with more kids can answer that question or maybe @Matt.

Thank you for posting this info.
We’re planning in staying a few days in Venice pre cruise next October.
You're very welcome @teddy. Let know if I can assist in any other way. Venice was fabulous!

How was the brunch? Is it similar to taste of royal?
It was nice. Basically, a three-course meal. Similar to items you would find on the MDR menu. They did have bottomless mimosas and/or champagne. Like everything lately, the price has gone up. We got a 20% discount because we bought it from one of the servers that we had in Chops one night. He was hawking the brunch tickets at breakfast one morning in the MDR. It was interesting to see the galley and some of the inner workings of the food production.

Ok. So, I know it's early to be guessing what's next since Icon of the Seas hasn't even sailed yet. But, what's next? What would you like to see added to the next Icon class ship? Is there still something you've been waiting for that hasn't arrived yet in a new ship? We can all dream!

The Lavazza pods were good. I'd say more of a medium roast. I just asked our cabin steward to get regular instead of decaf day 1 and it wasn't an issue the rest of the cruise. Neither was getting as many as I asked for. Cafe Latte-tudes on board was serving Illy espresso for their drinks.

We booked ours through our TA, but I think you can just call RC direct.
