  1. I don't know about the policies with TA cruises, but for non-TA cruises, we have taken food on board (snacks for the kids that we have from pre/post-cruise travel, tea bags for myself) every time without any issues.
  2. This one? https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2018/08/28/royal-caribbean-now-allowing-guests-bring-non-alcoholic-beverages-onboard
  3. There are so many blogs to read this week it is wonderful!!! Just wanted to say a quick thanks to all who are taking the time out of their vacations to help those of us stuck in dry dock!
  4. Omg! That would become Hubby's main motivation to cruise! The hockey part, not the Blues ?
  5. Make note @Matt. Validation for #teamCK!! We need a shirt for that. Actually make that a tank cause I don't wear t-shirts ?
  6. The new cabins on Mariner on Deck 11 also had the power slot.
  7. @tonyfsu21 I am betting that you are not the only one. I just followed the most interesting thread on another forum a week before the President's cruise about that exact issue.....
  8. @Neaxan...all this time and I did not know that this was going to be your first Royal cruise! How exciting to start off with the newest and brightest of them all! Looking forward to following along...the more blogs the merrier!
  9. Awesome! I was almost positive you wouldn't blog with all the people that you are sailing with but I am so glad you are!!
  10. There is. It's called group cruises! ? https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/events
  11. Dreams do come true....I've had my eye on Star Class since the program started in 2016. I wasn't doable, either because of timing or finances. We finally stumbled upon a good deal and we'll be trying it in 137 days.
  12. Awesome! Looking forward to following along Phil! You better go try that poutine and let me know what you think! ?
  13. Suite staterooms are also ready around 1pm. The only ones you can get into before 1pm are the Star class suites.
  14. Welcome Jay! Your cruising history sounds a lot like mine. We had a long dry dock when the kids were born as well. Glad to be back in. And you have found a great place here in the RCblog community!
  15. @CruisinUngs never tried it but some have reported that they have stuck a luggage tag on it and left it with the porters. I suppose you would have to take a risk of not getting it.
  16. @ReyRod Welcome! Yes, it is 100% an addiction and we all happily enable each other. That is what I love about RCBlog!
  17. Hey! I will have everyone know that I am sailing in an ocean view cabin on Indy in 67 days. All 4 of us! Whether I will survive it or not is the question! ?
  18. I haven't sailed that itinerary but I am hoping to with the release of the new schedules for 2020. If it were me, I would be looking at booking the 9 night simply because 6 nights seem rushed for those ports.
  19. Have you ever done a Med cruise? If not, I would personally pick the Med first over a TA. And @twangster brings up a good point, I would only do a TA on a big ship.
