Looking forward to trying JR's for breakfast on Allure. Sounds to me like typical, hearty American breakfast. Now, should I get pancakes or French toast...?

    HIRO

This is our first Oasis class sailing so no other aqua theater shows to compare with, but PHENOMENAL! This is entertainment at it's best. A must see! My pictures could not possibly to it any justice.

The aqua shows were a big draw for me in booking an Oasis class ship. Can't wait to see one.

We also discovered the pitfalls of having a private island where the drink package carries over. I witnessed more than one person needing to be pushed to their room in a wheelchair because they had over indulged on the island. One woman I saw was screaming in the hallway and didn’t know where her room was.

    Wow! ?

Is this a regular occurrence in Coco Cay?

    Hi,

I'm from Spain. I'll try to answer all your questions:

Tips are not mandatory but welcome.

1.- Guides: about 5€ per party (can be more or even less).

Bus driver: It's not usual to do it, but you can if you think he/she deserves it. Maybe 1€ or 2€ máx per person.

    2.- Same as bus driver.
In this case, if he/she had been specially nice with you, or you have any matter that makes his/her job harder, so it's common to give some €.

3.- There is not a % settled, but if the service was good, you should tip at restaurants and bars.

10% would be a good number

    Excuse my english.

Your English is better than mine! ?

  4. I had it on Navigator in 2016. You are massaged but  with either the heat from the stones (after the therapist has held them in their hands) or with the stones themselves.

I have enjoyed several hot stones massages at various places on land but I did not rate the one on Navigator. Maybe my therapist just wasn't the best. There was also a lot of attempt to up sell after the treatment which made it not such a relaxing experience. On the whole, for what I paid (with a 50%off voucher) I didn't think it was very good value. I love a massage but after the Navigator experience I didn't book one on my Independence cruise last year and won't book one on my upcoming Allure sailing. I can get a whole day at a spa at home, including a treatment, for the price of one massage onboard so personally, I'd rather save my money.

We went on Grandeur last month and I read 5 books over the 7 days.  I'm a huge fan of balcony reading.

I'm thinking I need to make more time for this on my upcoming cruises. Thing is though, even on the balcony I'm reluctant to read in case I miss a dolphin or whale sighting. It doesn't matter how many times I see them, I get ridiculously excited!?

Hi again everyone, another question for you....

Do you have to go through an induction before you are allowed to use the Gym/fitness centre?

    Thank you

No. Just turn up and use it. There are staff around if you need help with any of the equipment.

I use the gym on sea-days for about 30mins and I'm sure that's how I only put on 3lbs on a 14 night cruise with the drink package and eating everything I wanted ?

It sounds boring, but I have read 2 books while I’ve been here and hope to finish the 3rd before I get home. I rarely have time to read properly at home so I treasure this kind of uninterrupted time to catch up on some good books

Good for you! I love reading but often find I don't have enough time for it on a cruise what with all of the activities going on.
