Simon84 reacted to ScottD in Voom internet question
You nailed it. Once the 2nd kid logs in, it'll knock the other kid off, so make sure they communicate about who is using it and when so you avoid arguments over kicking each other offline. But it is interchangeable between devices.

Simon84 reacted to FionaMG in Planner has populated 3 weeks before cruise
Not every ship populates at the same time. I’ve had occasions where it's been several weeks in advance and others where it's been days.
You wouldn't see the soda package in the app, just on the cruise planner so you don't need to be concerned about that.

Simon84 reacted to Ampurp85 in Speciality Restaurant Pricing
No. On Royal the children age is 12 or under. The planner won't allow you to purchase children things because there is no child in your party. On board ymmv, because the staff may be willing to accommodate you, but the onboard price is higher. Might I suggest since she is 13, have her eat at the buffet or any other place she enjoys, and you enjoy Chop's without her.

Simon84 reacted to I_Love_RCI in Arcade on Explorer
As others have said, nearly every time we've gone to the arcade, half the machines aren't working.
Even on the inaugural for Icon, there were a couple of machines not running.
If you want to spend time in the arcade, just pay as you play a few games and don't bother with any prepaid plans.

Simon84 reacted to Ampurp85 in Cafe Promenade Menu
They are cold. The only hot item you might get is if Sorrento's is located in that Cafe promenade, which is the case on some of the older ships.

Simon84 reacted to AshleyDillo in Panoramic Suite Upgrade
No dedicated pool but they do have a small area on the pool deck that is suites only seating. However it is not directly next to the pool. It's usually in an area of tiered seating next to the steps up to the bar.
Also keep in mind your daily gratuities goes up when in a suite.

1. Suite Lounge - Yes. Full access including happy hour where the beverages are complimentary for suite guests. Children are welcome
2. Chops breakfast - yes
3. Suites pool - no.
We stayed in one of the panoramic suites on AD for Christmas and New Years cruises this past December. They are really nice. Very big. Negatives - you feel all of the ocean's motion by being high and on the bow. Since you are all the way forward, you are pretty much on the wrong end of the ship for most of the things that we do - like the SL....but both of those negatives are worth having these beautiful suites.

If you call Royal Caribbean they will allow you to buy one Deluxe Beverage Package as long as the other person purchases the Refreshment Package.

Simon84 reacted to Pattycruise in Wine with dinner
The wine does fit in the cooler in the cabin. Not all cabins have a cooler! Smaller ships interior cabins may not.
not all coolers work great. If you can leave the cabinet door open so air can circulate around it that may help. Some report putting a bucket of ice in the cooler makes it colder.
your cabin steward can bring a bucket of ice as well as glasses.

Simon84 reacted to Ampurp85 in MTD again
No. But a small maybe. With traditional dining you have a set table. They might have guest still seated up until 5min before your time. But keep in mind you will wait in line regardless of traditional or MTD. The dining room will not open until it is ready. I had traditional dining at 8pm and because of a late port day, one night it didn't open until 8:15. But another caveat is that traditional dining times have seem to have changed. I have traditional dining on an Allure sailing 10/15 and late dining is 7:45pm.
