I got to enjoy a Cohiba Puro Dominicana in its homeland of the beautiful Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic. Tasted pretty good! And by that I mean, it was amazing. 

Anyone with a good recommendation in Nassau? We usually stay on the ship, but might get off to have lunch at the Poop Deck next time we’re there. Tropical Cigars is nearby the restaurant with high ratings. 
 
Any place near port to enjoy a stick and a decently priced Kalik beer?

WAYNO, you are spot on Sir. The brother hood of the leaf always brings conversations. Just last week I had enjoyed a Cohiba Puro Dominican Churchill while sitting Puerta Plata, DR. Pretty enjoyable. See pic 

Sweepa, this is what it is all about! You nailed it! Thank you for sharing. I just got off of the Independence OTS out of Florida and they did offer some cigars, but i am not sure if they keep them in a humidor to they stay fresh. I don't see them moving to many, so they could be dry. I would say, take your own like you do.

This is going to be a fun cruise for sure. This will be our second Voyager class ship and we are looking forward to a smaller ship again. See you all onboard.

I buy a cigar or 2 for my general manger every time I cruise. As a
thank you for carrying the load while I'm gone.
I bought him a box of ten of the DAS cigars. He tells me they are really good burn real even and last quite awhile.
He says he will be ordering some more from DAS.
Thanks for the help in finding him a great cigar.

To me, I don't care who's name is on the label. Cigars are personal, so if I enjoy the cigar, the drink and the company - that's all that matters!

In that case I use Michelle at MEI, and she just sent me $400 price drop on a future cruise.
What I like is I send an email and it happens.
She did a great job with getting all the Covid FCC straightened out.
For me it's not All price, but impeccable service, which is what I get

Every company likes to use that "up to" discount wording.
 
Airlines love the opposite case. "Airfare as low as $39 one way!" Then you realize the only tickets at that price are to Peoria or Amarillo at 5am or 11:30pm

Read the thread and it motivated my to replenish my humidor. We're in St. Maarten this summer and will have to pick up some DAS

While In the port of  Mazatlan Mexico. The crew were preforming drills and a lifeboat fell into the sea you can read the letter attached for the details  We left the lifeboat behind and the captain assured everyone that we had plenty left. I didn’t see it happen I was on a excursion but spoke with a guest and would did and they we shook up a bit  Glad no one got hurt 

Great thread! Following this to take notes for my husband. Enjoying a cigar up on deck in the evening with the sea breeze blowing is one of his favorite things about cruising and something he very much looks forward to. 🥰
