  1. I'm waiting for this too. They released Alaska 2024 in November 2022, so I'm anticipating a similar time frame this year for 2025.
  2. I looked through here and couldn't find a topic that addressed this. How long is the typical hibachi meal experience? Trying to plan a reservation around potential shows occurring that night. Thank you!
  3. Same as @instaGator - sometimes, I've made it back to LAX by 9am without issue. Sometimes it's been closer to 10:00am. I wouldn't chance a 10:30am flight.
  4. I just saw this! YAY SPA/CALENDAR SYNERGY!!!!!!
  5. There IS a way - Cruise Mapper. You could map the ship on a Saturday night/Sunday morning some week and see if it actually is in the position the guy thinks it is.
  6. ...and here I was getting mocked for choosing an 11pm departure from Galveston for this summer. HA! VINDICATION!
  7. The aft balconies on the wings of 7 are even better/bigger, but any aft balcony is good (like everyone else says). Enjoy!
  8. I just polled my family - they all said evening, I said morning. They looked at me like I was bonkers. I like to be up early and get the day going! Typical day includes doing all my main chores in the morning, chilling in the evening. I don't like having a messy day. They all said "but morning means we can't sleep in." Priorities!
  9. I can't tell you how long I read "Rockle Gends Cruise" in my head and tried to figure out what it was.
  10. That's exactly what I'm looking for - a place to nap and chill out. If it has a pool, even better for my teenagers. I know nothing about either of these services, so you've given me something new to research! Thanks!!!!
  11. We get off Allure in Galveston on a Sunday morning. My guess is it will be around 10am. We don't depart Houston Hobby until 11pm. So, to fill the day, I was thinking of reserving a DayUse hotel room somewhere around Hobby (Pasadena, Webster, and Houston all have possibilities), because I definitely don't want to be going places with the amount of luggage we'll have (teenagers don't pack light, LOL). Which would you do - reserve a room from 11am-5pm, then head over to Hobby, or do 2-10pm knowing that you'd be arriving there a few hours early and leaving early? Thanks in advance for any thoughts you have!
  12. Here's what I see for Navigator's current itineraries thru June 30th. They are going to Mazatlan. There also hasn't been any information regarding them skipping the port in news or updates.
  13. I have found that spa reservations NEVER show up on the app calendar. Frustrating. I don't think the two systems talk to each other.
  14. Along those lines.........PARASAILING!!!!!!
  15. My favorite part of this RCB article about the updates is "passenger testes," because apparently I'm still a 12 year old. #typoforthewin
  16. I saw that and was surprised too! No tips, just hope it goes super well.
  17. Hey, I'm doing Allure in July too! We booked Turquoise Bay for Roatan, and then we did Red Shirt Golf Carts (rental) in Costa Maya to explore the area. The first was through RC, the second is not.
  18. I always book early and then cancel/rebook if the price drops. Go ahead and book them now if you really want them!
  19. I've been tracking prices for a while now for cruises since January this year out as far as January 2025. The best prices I have seen have been during their Black Friday sale. It's kind of a misnomer because the actual sale takes place starting around November 15th. By the time Black Friday rolls around, it's on to another sale, so don't miss the earlier one to actually have the really awesome deals! What I'm saying is that since you have time, watch for that one for sure.
  20. If I have a RC cruise departing the Port of Miami on the same day as another RC cruise, how do I know which terminal to go to? Are they all departing from the same terminal? If not, when/how will I find out which one to go to? If they ARE from the same terminal, is it fairly easy to navigate where to go to get on the right ship and ensure your belongings given to the porters wind up in the correct place too? Also, how far is the airport from the port? I mean in terms of travel time. Thanks in advance!
  21. Did you know that prickly pear cactus have "tulips?" These are around my neighborhood (not my photo). #confusionabounds
  22. YES! That was my thought when I saw it too - "hey, wait, that's the temperature conversion formula!" WHY, MATH FORMULAS, MUST YOU CONTINUE TO POPULATE MY BRAIN WHEN I HAVEN'T NEEDED YOU IN YEARS BUT YOU CAN'T HELP ME REMEMBER WHY I JUST WALKED IN A ROOM!?!??!??
  23. I'm so glad you mentioned this- we have BCBS as well. I'm going to go look through the benefits now!
  24. I'm in love with this suitcase. The medium one can easily hold a week of Caribbean clothing and accessories. It's also a really good price right now. Samsonite Freeform Hardside Expandable with Double Spinner Wheels, Checked-Medium 24-Inch, Sage Green https://a.co/d/iBr1Of6
  25. I *will* say that when I renewed my passport 2 years ago, the wait time was listed at 12 weeks just for normal passport renewals. I actually got mine back within 4 weeks, which was quite a surprise. Hopefully they're overestimating time!
