Only time I remember going to Ben and Jerry's was when my kids were young. Most part I rarely see people there

I just always email shareholderbenefit@rccl.com with the request form and stockholder statement
If you go to section 11 Where can I obtain the Shareholder Onboard Credit Offer Request Form?
has a You can complete your Shareholder Onboard Credit Offer Request electronically link that seems to work

Mine was pending a few day ago, but it's went through officially

I've been on ships where I departed earlier, some departed on time and some up to an hour late. My office in the Toronto area. I intentionally go in and leave outside of rush hour traffic (if there really is a thing). I can drive 50 times, the first 49 I have no hurry to get home and it's smooth sailing. The one time I need to be home and they were be 50 accidents, highways closures, you name it. I guess what I'm saying is this thing called Murphy's Law, I seen it in action and prepare for it

I would have waited to until after the Dr appointment to cancel myself (at least then you'd have a medical form). Not sure when your symptoms started and when your cruise leaves, but you might have be over it by the time the cruise departs.

Just checked, nothing really spectacular that would convince me to purchase anything.

Seeing a battery for a mobility scooter had a issue on P&O recently (and that's a medical device). I'd doubt they'd let e-bikes on

Definitely seems like ChatGPT or something like that (somebody stirring the pot). Sorry but I'm in my 50's and don't like rap either, but I don't think I've ever heard rap on any ship I've been on yet. The music by the pool is geared towards the younger crowd, but throughout the ship the vast majority seems to music that came out when I was in elementary school. They literally have a 70 disco night party and a 80's night. Same goes with talking on a cell phone, not sure I've ever seen anybody talk on their phone on a ship (you'd have one heck of a phonebill)

Last cruise they had multiple lines based on checkin time. They checked the set sail pass and directed you to the proper line

I’d imagine for everybody who wants a traditional cruise, there are a thousand who don’t. I don’t like having to do everything on app, but I get it.

Was looking at that cruise but decided against it since it was on the Grandeur, might have to revisit

We always use Park 'N Go. You can see the ships from the lot and it is 1/2 the cost or more.
Thats the one on the left hand side just before you hit the main gate? How is the shuttle getting off going back to the car?

Definitely recommend doing as much as possible before arriving at the port. It takes about 5-7 minutes to enter all the info per passenger. Worth the effort while breezing through the terminal.

Been let off early,on time and late wouldn't count on any precise time. Last cruise we were doing carry off, was suppose to start at 6:45, since we had a person in a wheelchair, to avoid elevator congestion we went down at 6:10. As we were getting off the elevators the crew members said "Ok we cleared" and started disembarking, was in my car by around 6:20

We've went many times during hurricane season. Last time we went in Oct/Nov, we had no issue getting chairs at all, could almost sit where ever you want. For the most part the weather was fine. We did miss a port due to a hurricane (Grand Cayman) so we ended up staying in Labadee 2 days. They know well in advance and will adjust accordingly. Unless there is something you really want to do, kind of a once in a lifetime thing I found it pretty easy to adjust. Heck took us on our 3d try to actually get to PDCC

I'm still in my working phase, but will probably start transitioning over to at least partial retirement in 2025/26 (when we're 55), so my answer is more because of that. Right now we only do about 1 cruise a year, but in 2025 we plan on upping that. Part of the big cost for us is travel to the port. We've started to look at B2B's. Also looking at Europe and Australia. So maybe get to around 4-6 cruises a year. Not sure what that'll translate into

We love flying out of Detroit. Most times it is very smooth. It is a very easy airport to navigate. Any delays or hiccups we have had are not usually due to the airport. It’s the airline. Traffic going in/out of the airport is always smooth. There are quite a few airport hotels at DTW that shuttle you straight to the terminal. The Westin is located right inside McNamara terminal (that is Delta’s terminal at DTW). We’ve been flying out of Detroit for years, decades even lol. I avoid Pearson like the plague. But sadly I might have to fly out of there next summer to Europe
If driving to DTW is not much trouble for you, I would suggest to price it out. Not sure where you are exactly but we know cruisers from around London, ON who sometimes cross at the Ambassador Bridge or Sarnia when they fly out of DTW.
Will definitely give it a look. I'm in the Hamilton area, about a 3 hr drive to DTW. With Pearson one problem around here is traffic is bad from 6am to 8pm, especially the 401. One accident and it might take me 3+ hrs just to get to Pearson. That's one of the reasons we tend to go out of Buffalo, other is it's usually around $500 a person cheaper. Also like having to go through customs in the comfort of my car rather than standing in line for an hour. We want to do some west coast cruises, but the connecting flights out of Buffalo tend not to go through Chicago or Detroit, most seem to be through Boston or NY.

We are also Canadian as many here already know. However, because we live in Southern Ontario, and we are really close to the border, we almost always fly out of Detroit. Because DTW is a hub for Delta, we mainly fly Delta. Delta also has the most non-stop options for us for Florida and we hate to make connections so that is another reason why we stick to that airline. Do we fly enough to rack up a ton of Skymiles? No way. But that airline makes sense for us because of where we are.
Hotels are a bit trickier to build up loyalty. There are certain hotels that I gravitate to in each of the places we visit, but they are not necessarily the same line. I collect loyalty points wherever I can for hotels. After a few years, I finally have enough IHG points for 2 free nights
As for credit cards, we love our RBC Signature Visa Black. It is a US visa. It bills in US dollars and we pay in US dollars. We use this card for all travel in the US. Because all hotels, air, cruise fares go on this card, we rack up quite a few points. This card has cash back. Every 10,000 points is $100 cash back. You can also redeem points for merchandise if you want. But we always use it for credit back to the card.
Out of curiosity how is flying out of Detroit? I'm midpoint between Toronto and Buffalo, but have thought about going out of DTW. We tend to go out of Buffalo, but they're all connecting flights. Don't want to go out of Toronto as it's a nightmare (have to drive by it to get to my office and travelled business out of it)

We just always flip our phone to manual as we walk on the ship the first day
