  1. Sorry if this has already been asked. Is there a certain time you have to test before the cruise? Our scenario: we live in Northern California. We are cruising on August 21st out of Florida. On the 19th we are driving 6 hours to Sacramento and flying from Sacramento to Orlando on the 20th for a seven day cruise. We will be leaving home in the morning on the 19th. Is it okay to test in the morning of the 19th before we leave the house or will that be too soon?

    thank you.

  2. Does anyone know what is going on with the Kennedy Space Center tour excursion? I got an email the vip tour is not guided anymore and that it is a self guided tour. They are also no longer taking people to the Apollo/Saturn visitor center. They said we can keep the tour or cancel it. I looked on the cruise planner and the excursion completely vanished from the cruise planner. It says it will still take us to the airport, but I’m afraid if any other changes are made, we’ll get stranded with no way to the airport after the cruise.

  3. We haven’t flown or cruised in many, many years (but two cruises scheduled through the end of the year, yay) and we have to fly from California to Florida for the first one. We are bringing extra cash and my wife and I are each taking a suitcase so I’ll put half my clothes in her suitcase and half her clothes in my suitcase so if one gets lost we will each have clothes. If they lose both suitcases we’re @#%*ed

  4. You can see the menu for a specific ship on the Royal Caribbean App.

    open app

Click on the person icon top right

    Click select a different sailing

Go all the way to the bottom to “Get more details on ships we support”

Click on the ship you want to see

Then click the sailing dates for the current date.

click on the ship icon on the top and then click on dining. You will then have the options to see the menus for that sailing.

  5. I understand there is the Facebook group for cruising ducks which is very good, the only problem I have with it is that there are so many posts that it can get lost in all the posts and you might miss someone finding your duck or not seeing you find their duck. What are your thoughts on a cruise ship duck website where each duck is assigned by the website a duck number and the ducks can be tracked and logged when found and rehidden. Each duck on the website will have a photo (both when hidden and found, the hider(s) or finder(s), the cruise line, cruise ship, duck origins, hint on hide or reside, special note on duck or cruise or cruisers, and the date. It can be searched by cruise ship, cruise line, or duck ID number.

Would a website like this be helpful ( hopefully because it is almost completely built)? Thank you for your feedback.

  6. This was probably 15-20 years ago. My sister and brother in law took all 15 members of our family on a cruise (my parents, 5 members of my family, my sister’s family of 5, and my brother’s family of 3). We were all meeting up for dinner and I see my brother with his ponytail and my sister in law with her blond hair with their backs turned toward us. I sneaked up behind my brother and kicked at the back of his knee bring him toward the ground. That is when I noticed it was not my brother, but someone who looked very similar from behind. My brother in law who was with me beelined to the nearest shop and pretended like he was window shopping and didn’t know me at all. I apologized profusely but throughout the rest of the cruise the guy side eyed me every time he saw me.

  7. It’s not a cruise compass, but if you want to see the daily planner for a specific ship and you have the Royal Caribbean App.

    open app

Click on the person icon top right

    Click select a different sailing

Go all the way to the bottom to “Get more details on ships we support”

Click on the ship you want to see the daily planner for.

    Then click the sailing dates.

I usually only click the current sailing dates so I don’t know how far in advance they publish the activities for future sailings
