    Final Outcome for those that may be having this issue...
    The cruise went fine and we enjoyed ourselves.
    When I returned home, the ~$58 I insisted they owed me (I can add) was refunded to my card.  That was a nice surprise, as I had no intention of spending one more minute on the phone with them to try to get it resolved, and would have just let it go.
    In the future, I will not apply for Royal Caribbean stockholder OBC even though I am entitled to it, as I am convinced this triggered my issues after it was applied and I subsequently cancelled and rebooked a Cruise Planner item to save a few bucks.  Just not worth the hassle and stress I endured for two weeks leading up to the cruise.  Also, I instantly regretted sending a brokerage statement, even a heavily redacted one, to a cruise line who obviously does not have the best IT department, to say the least.
    Advice to those finding themselves in this situation....insist that they change the final payment due date to the day of the cruise for all reservations the moment you get your first e-mail.  They did this for me, they can do it for you.  Alleviates at least a little of the stress and stops the daily e-mails.  
    To Royal Caribbean....fix this!!  Devote whatever resources are required to make it happen yesterday.  It is ridiculous to be told by multiple employees on the phone that this is a 'known issue' and 'not to worry about it'.  That's a big ask when your customer is not sure they will be able to board the ship on the sailing date for a cruise they paid in full the day it was booked.  If you know about it, fix it.

    I had the same issue and here is my update 7 business days and still no refund so I spent yesterday morning on the phone trying to get a resolution. The solution was to extend my final payment to two days before the cruise departs this was not acceptable. So I did the only thing I could think of I sent a Facebook message to M. Bailey someone from the executive resolutions called me confirmed the refund has been processed and will be reflected on my CC next week but more importantly the system finally allows me to make the payment to get the balance back to $0, I was also given some onboard credit which was not the reason I contacted them but was a nice gesture. I did make it known that whoever decided this was the way to handle the situation picked the absolute worst way to make things right and they need to find a way to make those back end adjustments without involving the customer, she confirmed the issue is tied to the new cruise planner system they implemented and that IT is aware of it and trying to figure out the issue but they have seen an uptick of funky stuff happening to reservations once you cancel something on the cruise planner. For reference I cruise 7/10 and had originally been paid in full in Jan 3,2022.

    I wanted to share a recent issue I had on Mariner with in App Booking/Reserving and the ships Voom WIFI. For the first 2 days on our 6 day cruise I couldn't book or reserve anything in the Royal App. It was always greyed out and just kept saying "Ship Wi-Fi needed for booking." despite me being connected to the Mariner VOOM Wi-FI. My wife had the same issue on her iPhone but two people in my party with Androids had no issues.
    I eventually had some time to troubleshoot and the fix was related to Apple iOS Privacy Settings under the Wi-Fi Access Point Information Settings. It appears that the privacy setting for "Limit IP Address Tracking" prevents the ship from knowing you're actually on the ship.
    If you run into this issue, here is how I resolved it:
    Steps: Settings -> Wi-Fi -> select the Information (i) icon next to the ships SSID (WiFi-Guest-Mariner for me). On those settings you'll see "Limit IP Address Tracking". Disable that setting and then close and reopen the Royal Caribbean App and the button should now be live.
    I've attached a screenshot in case anyone would like to see the visual.
    Hopefully this helps someone in need in the future. It was super annoying not being able to use the app!

    Ohh I have those.  Then they sent me a new one 8 days ago that said I owed money.  It's a weird bug on their side.  I've got it all documented, if I show in Vancouver in August and don't have my rooms.....my lawyer will take over.

    Our cruises have disappeared also and they are not even to the final payment date.  I think that the site is being worked on so all things are down.

    We are on Harmony July 3rd and they still haven't opened up the check in slots yet. Was told to wait until about 30 days out and try again. Seems to be hit or miss for different dates and ships.

    Hello, I got this tip from a Facebook Group for my sailing and got permission to share the tip. I don’t know if this has been shared before here. It’s a way to see the daily activities for the ship at the current time. 
     
    I know I'm the most excited for the cruise, but I have a tip if any of you less enthusiastic people are interested. It gives you the current information on the current sailing on the ship so you can get an idea of the activities and menus. You will need the Royal Caribbean app:
    You will need the Royal Caribbean app:
    Open app and click on the person icon at the top.
    Click on select a different sailing
    Go to bottom and click on get more details on ships we support
    Click the ship you are going on
    Click on the sailing with the current date (ie May 22- May 29 2002)
    If you click on the daily planner you will see all the activities that are planned for this day to get an idea of what is offered. It also says where the ship is right now.

    Same problem with the July 3 Harmony.  No boarding time—the main thing we check in asap for. We’ve been checking every day since the original checkin date.

    I’ve had canceled cruise planner items take anywhere from 1 day to 20 days to show back up on my credit card as credit. It seems to be hit or miss. You can always call and they will be able to give you a status update.

    On average, about a week to be credited back to your C.C.  I've never had that happen to me.

    At one point in time a decade ago it was conceived to be a guest area.  If you visit the ship model on Oasis in the aft elevator banks you will see loungers and what clearly looks like a guest area.  Why it never was utilized as such is unclear. " -twangster
