  1. We did this just a few weekends ago. Sabor was available for lunch every day, as was Izumi on day 3, even though we were at PDCC.
  2. Would be nice to get a Playmakers, or a much better way to watch sports. Trying to watch the NFL games inside on divisional weekend was a joke. Three years in a row that we've cruised on that weekend. Harmony had plenty of room inside, even had games on at the ice rink, and Mariner last year had them on at the pool, as well as Playmakers. Sure, you could watch out back outside, but when it is 60 ish degrees and very windy, that isn't comfortable. Doing it only in the karaoke bar and outside was pitiful.
  3. We walked from the port to Rip Ty'd Brewery just this past Sunday, which is about a 15-20 minute walk east of the port. Other than walking past a bunch of empty, decaying storefronts, never for a second felt unsafe. Was the first time we've set foot off the boat in Nassau for four cruises. Going the other way, into the lions den of locals trying to make you buy something if they touched you with it always felt much worse.
  4. Yes, was open on Allure just this past Sunday, while in port in Nassau.
  5. If you have an I phone, put your set sail passes in your Wallet. Should be the last 5 numbers there.
  6. We are doing a three day on Allure in a few weeks. This will be the first time we will forgo the drink package. $76.99 per person per day, plus taxes and tips? No thanks. I am a drinker, and I would really have to get after it to make that worth while.
  7. We have rushed over, and eased over, and have always been able to find good seating. We did head back early last January to watch the Bengals-Bills playoff game by the pool. Watching a snowy football game when it is 80 on the pool deck is a great experience. While not many people there, there were enough to make the one poor guy behind the pool bar a busy man, and a long line was the result until staff started coming back on the ship.
  8. We did the package on Mariner back in January. Will not make that mistake again on a ship that limited in the offerings. Certainly didn't feel like we got any value there. Chops was decent, Izumi was nowhere near as good as last year on Harmony, and Jamie's was just plain not good.
  9. Those things can find me from 10 miles away...we were just at CocoCay in the last week, and I didn't have a single issue the entire day. We did the Blue Lagoon a few years ago, and I didn't have an issue there either.
  10. But you can...and you should, especially now. These servers are working on half full ships, therefore making half the money. Be as generous as you can.
  11. Yes! We had a wonderful lunch at Jamie's Italian. Just walked right in.
  12. It is unlimited...though if I did that "double dipping", I'd gain 50 lbs in a week. We will certainly do lunch anywhere we can, even Johnny Rockets.
  13. It gives you a placeholder when you purchase. You will have to make your reservations when you get on the ship. We board Harmony on Sunday, and setting our 7 dinner reservations will be the second thing we do, after getting a cold adult beverage.
  14. I agree. As much as I am hoping that we get to sail on Jan 16th, if they cancel, I get my $$ back in full, plus a 100% FCC, I would be satisfied.
  15. And so it begins...I'm glad we had looked at other alternatives. Still flying to MCO on Sat Jan 15th. I've always wanted to drive to the Keys, I'll get that chance if they cancel Harmony on the 16th.
  16. We fly out of Cincinnati on 1/15, leaving on Harmony 1/16. We also have a park balcony room. Following.
  17. As of yesterday they had not changed their cruise passenger rules to this. The cruise requirements are listed in a separate section.
  18. The CDC just updated cruise ship travel to level 4... https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices/covid-4/coronavirus-cruise-ship
  19. They have not updated the cruise passenger part of that, been the same since Aug. Perhaps it has changed, and they've not updated their website yet.
  20. If the Bahamas does indeed decide to continue this policy of not allowing cruise ships to disembark on their "private" islands, I don't see how the cruise lines can continue. That is the one thing keeping us from postponing our Jan 16th cruise. I don't really care about the ports so much, but seven days on Harmony without anywhere to go? No thanks.
  21. We went on Mariner back in October, and it was as safe as could be. We are scheduled for Harmony leaving out on Jan 16th, and my wife and I still haven't decided. March is a long, long way away with what is going on.
