If you can get a drink package below $60, that's a steal of a deal.  Below $70 is already a good price

@Mark_A I know all offers are based on play. So you being signature or earning a high level of points will factor in. My also prime brother got $50, my chouce mother got $25.

The trick is finding a machine that is paying out, or not losing as much as other machines.  🤣
Sometimes you put in a $20 and you can go for an hour.  Sometimes you put in $20 and you go five spins.  
Earning points on the play through money beats earning the same points by feeding more bills in.  If I feel the money falling away quickly I move to another machine.  In theory they operate with similar statistics but if I'm not feeling it I waste no time trying another machine. 
When I decided to go for Prime I got lucky on that first cruise.  I put $300 in and pretty quickly hit a $900 win.  Logic said to take the money and run but I wanted Prime so I played that $1,200 plus a few hundred more all the way to a 1,200 level instant reward and halfway to Prime.
I chose to finish my Prime run on another cruise so I could get a second instant reward free cruise. 
Higher bets have the potential to yield higher wins but your money goes much quicker.  If you time it right and get lucky a higher bet for a few spins can really pay off but it can also eat your money very quickly so always be aware of the rate that your money is going down.
Last night on one machine when ever I increased my bet I wasn't hitting.  I went with minimum bets on a machine with feature free games and while it took hours of play time, I made 500 points with just over $200 invested.  It kept hitting the feature free games and while the payout wasn't massive on the small bets, over hours it amounted to a lot of play through money.  It was a lot of fun on a great run over 4 hours but I only seemed to hit with a small bet.

I got an email today about March birthday and discount on cruises. My birthday is in January. I wish they would get their stuff together!

It's not 2000 to 4000 per cruise because apparently that gets you no offers.

this is me.  I have a cruise starting this weekend, and I will not in my life ever reach Masters.  I have 1000 in free play and that may be all I spend next week....

I log each day of a cruise as a session.  I only play slots. and I track starting cash, vs ending cash.  I actually only bill to my room, so I have another record of cash used in the casino.  it's not perfect, but seems to work for me.  I do note any significant bonuses that were smaller than hand pay's. to keep a tally of cash in vs cash out.
tbh, by then end of the cruise, I've spent more than won, so there is that.  at the end of the year, I just use make it even on my taxes by claiming a loss equal to winnings.  In 2024 it was just under 30k in hand pays. so I used that same number to offset the income. 
Between my "diary" and my receipts from Royal, plus the win/loss statements from all the casinos I figure I meet the burden of proof.

Congrats!!!  I just made signature for the first time last week on my cruise on Harmony. I too am excited to see when the signature cruise is and hoping I can make it work. This has been a pretty good year for me with casino cruises. And also hoping to use my yearly signature cruise on Icon maybe next January or February
