ConstantCruiser got a reaction from Baked Alaska in Concierge Lounge Wine/Beer/Hard Cider
Just to clarify a Concierge Club is not the same as a Suite Lounge.
For a suite guest they appear to be similar but for members of the Crown and Anchor Society there are differences in access permissions between the two so invoking one term does have some differences to long time cruisers and you may see different answers based on that subtle difference.
No Oasis class have a Concierge Club (anymore).  On older ships the concept of a Concierge Club has been around for a long time.  In 2015/2016 they introduced the concept of a Suite Lounge.  Most ships were moving to the Suite Lounge name and access rules pre-Covid but we aren't there yet across the whole fleet.
Technically the complimentary beer & wine is not offered in any Concierge Club since there are no Concierge Clubs on Oasis class.
As you continue to research and plan your cruise just be aware of the Suite Lounge name to look out for in other threads.

    Correct.
Initially it was inserted in the process to give the CDC another choke point where they could halt cruising or drag their feet for months.  If it were not for the Florida lawsuit I am pretty confident that would have been the outcome.

Yep. Politics to the side (I'm not a political person and try to steer clear of all conversations) I think the FL lawsuit in general is what lit the fire under the CDCs behind. If not for that, we'd still be talking about next round of cancellations vs next round of ships re-starting.

Initially I expect there will be some questions and prolonged check in experiences while it gets sorted out for anyone who doesn't have what the majority are using in that region.
Over time there will be patterns that will support different documentation standards around the globe.  What the typically cruiser is using in the UK versus what a typical cruiser uses in the US versus a cruiser boarding in Cypress for example.
Cruising during the restart is going to have some speed bumps along the way.

    4. What vaccines are accepted? Vaccines that are fully approved or authorized for emergency use by a national regulatory authority (such as the U.S. FDA), or global health organization (such as the World Health Organization) are accepted. Please be aware that certain countries we sail from or visit during a voyage may require a specific vaccine, and only those travelers vaccinated with the requisite vaccine will be considered fully vaccinated. Be sure to review your departure country's requirements or consult our guest materials prior to sailing for these requirements

I think we need more information to answer this.
First off, download the apps before your cruise while you are at home or on a wifi connection.  Then there should be no charges assuming your wifi doesn't charge you.
If you download anything, including apps, over cellular you might be charged but that depends on your cell plan.  I have an unlimited plan that includes a lot of data in most countries so no charge to download apps for me.  Your cell plan may be different than mine so YMMV.
If you are out of the country and refused or forgot to download any apps before leaving the US try to find a wifi hotspot like at a coffee shop, bar or hotel.
The best plan is to download any cruise apps before you leave the US.

In the past obtaining an account wasn't difficult.  Assigned status would be "Pre-Gold".
However simply having an account doesn't qualify for this promo.  Having Gold status or higher qualifies one for the double points promo.
Still, knowing Royal, some "Pre-Gold" may end up getting more points so who knows... it's worth a shot, but don't be upset if it doesn't work out.
    YMMV.

I'm glad to see this is happening as I had heard a rumor that TA's were told they would honor cruise planner pricing VIA an OBC difference and it would be automatic.
When I first heard that I was curious if it was true.  Now it appears to be so.
    Great news.

Not to rub salt in the pleasant situation but here is another reason to consider booking with a refundable deposit as you move forward.  Non-refundable saves money if you cruise but costs money if you cancel.  That's the trade off when choosing NRD.

    Congratulations!
CWC is available through April 30, 2022.  At the moment CWC isn't an option for a June 2022 cruise.
Worst case is a standard cancel that carries a $100 fee per person with the rest of the deposit made available as an FCC.
However if your TA calls they might do something for you but you'll need to know the ship and sail date for the replacement cruise.
You can price a future cruise with an infant by supplying any name.  "Baby" with your last name will suffice, then change the name at a later date.  This will lock in the rate for the 3rd guest in your cabin.
Not all cabins can accommodate 3 guests and a baby is considered a full guest as the baby consumes one spot in the lifeboat allocated to a cabin.  Every guest regardless of age or size has their own spot in a lifeboat due to international conventions and regulations.  Unlike an airplane there is no "lap child" rule for a cruise or lifeboat.  If your existing cabin category contains an even number such as a 4V interior or 2D balcony that's not going to work for 3 guests.

This is a difficult time for everyone involved.  Cruising during the initial restart (basically most of 2021) will require a bunch of adaptability.  It won't be for everyone.
Without getting into the protocols, if they are right or not, who is to blame, etc. - we are where we are.
Where you are it seems is a vaccinated family with a friend on the booking who at the moment is not.  That isn't much different than being a vaccinated parent of a child under age 12 who isn't eligible for any vaccine at the moment.
With that being said your choice is CWC and postpone into the future or have a discussion with the other family and come to a consensus with them that doesn't ruin any relationships.
We all want this to be over but it isn't, yet.  Until our governments declare otherwise we all have to accept to play by their rules.

FWIW this graphics doesn't seem to indicate the extension applies only to new bookings.

The C&A website hasn't been updated and still the references the previous Sept. 2022 date.
I'd be highly surprised if existing bookings did not qualify.
Give it a few days, they will update the website this week.
