I really want to see flight

Honestly, if you go on Independence, you're going to regret not choosing the extra day while disembarking the ship .

@jack_4321where did you find the photos?
I was scrolling through Instagram and they were there. I can't seem to find the original post anymore.

Something interesting is that there isn't an art installation in the Solarium unlike Symphony. I'm not sure if they just didn't build it yet, or if they decided to remove it altogether.
I find it funny that the art installation on Symphony was called "Big Wonder", but it's not on Wonder.

Odyssey does have a sun deck, but it's not nearly the same as the Oasis Class ships. It's much smaller, and isn't really private. It's pretty much a sectioned off area of the pool deck with fancier chairs.
It's located where the indoor pool used to be on other Quantum Class ships. (under the north star arm)

I heard the solarium will be air conditioned. Not sure I’m liking fully enclosed and air conditioned. Kind of ruins that tropical feel
I think it's "climate controlled" rather than air conditioned. Since it's fully covered, I'm guessing they will make sure it's not too hot, but not try to make it cold.

Try checking on cruisedeckplans to see if there is a photo or video of your room. The site is basically a library of user-submitted photos/videos of cruise ship rooms.

Day 7 which was also the day for CocoCay ….. kids couldn’t get off the ship there until the results of their test came back. Luckily for us, we got our kids tested first thing and their results were back by 9am. We were in CocoCay from 8am to 4Pm. A lot of families who tested as early as 8am weren’t allowed to go to CocoCay until AFTER 12 noon. I’m not sure why they didn’t do the testing on Day 6 which was a sea day. They’re allowed to do it 2 days before returning into the country. It would have saved many families from missing over half their day at CocoCay.Do you know if people who are getting tested for re-entry into their country are allowed off before getting test results, or does everyone who gets tested need to stay onboard until they get their test results back?

Don't know if I'm late, but Captain Kate posted a video on TikTok revealing that Captain Rob Hempstead, who is the Captain of Symphony, will be the Captain of Wonder of the Seas.
Also, there's a little sneak peek of the Solarium in that video:

This is great info @twangster! I was told multiple times by the suite concierge on Allure that as a Canadian, this would be offered to me but it is so helpful to see it laid in in @twangsterstep by step format! Thank you for posting. Now only 57 days until I get out of dry dock!!! hopefully...
@twangster format is the best format!

I'm planning on getting the refreshment package, but how does the 18% gratuity work?
Also, how does the refreshment package work on CocoCay? I've heard some people say they pour sodas out of bottles, but are there also non-alcoholic beverages included there too?

We were tested at 9:15AM and results were delivered to our stateroom at around 6:30PM
Since it's a 72 hour rule rather than a "how many days" rule, do you know if the 72 hours is counted when the test is administered, or when you receive your results?

With the border reopening being announced recently, I have a two questions:
1. I know Royal provides testing for kids and those who need one for re-entry. What day is this administered on a 7 night cruise? The Canadian gov needs it to be within 72 hours.
2. Is the test onboard a PCR or Rapid test? The Canadian gov needs it to be a PCR.

I was on a TA on Allure which RCCL canceled and switched to the new Wonder. My friend and I were in rooms next to each other, per our request, on Allure. Our new reservations are on opposite ends of the ship. We were told they are booking every other room on this ship. Still no explanation on why my room is bow and the other is stern. We are still trying to work it out.
Interesting, I guess they're doing every other only if there is a very small number of people.

I remember hearing a while ago from somewhere/someone that they were booking every other room and switching them on the next sailing. Is this still being done?

I don't recall a godmother being named for Odyssey of the Seas. Aren't godmothers usually announced before the inaugural cruise?

What if there are no similar staterooms at all?
I was wondering this too. What if I wanted to do a price check, but let's say all the balconies were sold out?

I guess that means less t-shirts and booze.
