If a hurricane will affect your cruise then the cruise line will make a decision to change ports or shorten the cruise. Rarely do they cancel a cruise completely during hurricane season. Your best bet is to be flexible mentally and you'll still have an amazing time!
The only time cruises get canceled if the home port itself is threatened.

And that's a unique itinerary, too. If the dates aligned better, I'd be even tempted to do that, and I don't like non-balcony rooms.

So, how do they factor in the variables, such as pre paid tips and refundable deposit? Curious if you will need to select these options up front... sure will make mock bookings easier/faster.
Those are both voluntary fees.
This law really isn't targeting the cruise industry. Just they fit close enough that they feel they have to make changes.

Bring back skeet shooting and hitting golf balls.
Unless you mean computer simulators, this will never happen due to environmental rules.

With an annual policy, just make sure it covers enough. The default interruption/cancellation coverage is pretty low.

I've never found that entering your deposit date affects the cost of your policy. Though if you get one that has specific coverages, like pre-existing conditions, that might matter.

4) Yes, bring back the old MDR menus. Not everyone is a foodie or wants to have imaginative food.
I don't think there's anything "foodie" about the new MDR menus.

New section 1770(a)(29)(A) to the Civil Code will forbid, as of July 1, 2024, "Advertising, displaying or offering a price for a good or service that does not include all mandatory fees or charges" other than government-imposed taxes or fees, and postage and shipping fees.
Upon reading that, RC isn't doing anything wrong since they show the total price since it doesn't currently include "government-imposed taxes or fees"

This is a positive change. Makes it easier to easily calculate how much a cruise costs. The easier it is to determine the "out the door price", the better.
I'm going to take note of the current price for all my booked cruises on June 30. Then compare on July 1 if they simply did just roll in the taxes, or if they did that plus upped prices.

I came here to post this... yeah. So it's basically now what you see is what you pay (plus gratuities...may as well tack them on while they're updating the sites! )
What I saw before is what I paid. Now I just don't have to do the math.

I believe the California law requires that the FULL price be advertised without the fine print that is currently the norm.
So we're going to go from "$1000 plus $100 taxes" to "$1100 including $100 taxes" all because people are too lazy to read. 'Merica!

Come 2028, there would be 31 ships in operation. But odds are some Vision class ships will depart the fleet by then.

New York Post reported that the new bridge height clearance at high tide will be 230'. Verrazano-Narrows bridge is 228'. If accurate, what are the chances the Baltimore port will see larger ships like the oasis class ships? If this has already been discussed, I apologize, but this is new info.
Ships sailing out of Baltimore still have to get past the Bay Bridge, which is the same height as the Key Bridge.

For example, if a dish that sounds particularly good to my wife other than the almond crust on something (she is sufficiently allergic that there would likely be a medical evacuation), the inquiry about whether it can be prepared separately without the almond crust. If so, she knows what she's having tomorrow.
They certainly cater to food allergies. But special requests just for "I don't like that" they've tended to shy away from.
