  1. covid tests are allowed by airlines, unopened. I have brought them numerous times. And I always bring in carry-on bag. I fear checked bags might get too cold.
  2. We are taking our 3 grandkids on a cruise next year. We found having connecting cabins to work the best. 2 bathrooms was a big plus. Plus they are older 11 and 13 yrs. We then have our own space, bathroom, and TV.
  3. We sail out of Ravenna, Italy later next month. We will still need to do a proctured covid test within 48 hours of departure. Our cruise involves Greek ports and I think Greece requires it still. Many Europe cruises will still need Covid tests, but not sure about UK.
  4. I love 150 Central Park. Wonderland is a very unique experience, but the food does not often please everyone. But I would chose Wonderland if you have never tried it before. Hibachi is entertaining but very noisy. Also is more common type of food.
  5. Do Pinnacles pay for drinks with their vouchers in suite lounge? Or are they free like suite guests? Thanks
  6. I have never taken my medications or supplements in original bottles. I use those boxes that are days of the week. 1 set for morning pills and 1 set for evening pills. I do carry a list of all my medications though. No one has ever asked or checked them.
  7. I really think the 3 balconies would be a lot less. You cannot see prices of rooms online with more than 4 people. You need to check with your travel agent to price it, or call RC
  8. I do many B2B cruises. Usually internationally you do not have get off whip. I am doing another B2B in Sept out of Venice, Italy. (actually port is Ravenna). Sometimes to make my dining reservations I have to wait until first day on new cruise, but you can do them early before people even get on. Sometimes they will let me make them the night before. Depends on who you talk to. Might want to chummy up to one of the desk people at one restaurants and give him/her a tip on the first cruise!
  9. I love the Urban Martini at 150 Central Park. We go there just to have a drink sometimes, no reservations needed
  10. Cabin you were promised or actually reserved? Kinda confusing here
  11. On your original receipt when you first booked was the cabin correct? Not fully understanding the whole thing. Did you use travel agent, etc.
  12. I took a wheelchair with me when my sister and I took my Mom on a cruise. We gate checked the chair. She did not always need the chair but was nice to have when she did. Was not a big issue. By taking our own wheelchair it also worked for the hotel night before the cruise and night after cruise.
  13. None should be omitted. But personally I do not use Adventure Ocean or the Gym. And I always use Wifi, Specialty dining, Hot Tubs, and go to shows. And my husband likes the TV a lot.
  14. I always cruise the first 2 weeks of December. Not many kids, and all the Christmas decorations are up. The price for cruises and flights are low those 2 weeks also. I like to be home, with the snow, on Christmas day.
  15. I hope they stop the requirement. In the US it is easy to do and I have no problem. But going on Europe cruises it is a pain testing in hotel room. I cruise out of Italy in September and staying in Venice 4 days prior to cruise.
  16. If I just order something small, like coffee or a dessert, then I leave $2. A meal up to $5.
  17. I would prefer OVB on deck 6, over Central Park balcony. I like the privacy of ocean view balcony and seeing the ocean.
  18. I always have a cup on the counter in my cabin with one's and five's in it, just for tipping. No issues looking for a tip last minute. Especially at breakfast I am barely awake! They really appreciate the tips you give them.
  19. It is always so fun moving up in the loyalty program. Congratulations to all of you! It seems I have been Diamond Plus "forever". It is a long way from Dia+ to Pinnacle. But Next May we will finally be pinnacle, providing I do not have to cancel any cruises. We have 3 B2B cruises and 1 TA cruises to go to get there. Am excited. And my sister just made Diamond and is very happy with that. Happy cruising everyone!
  20. How about a cruise that leaves from Montana! haha
  21. Sounding good. I am sure whatever you chose everyone will have a fabulous time! I was on Odyssey in May for the first time. A great ship. Thank you for your comments. Enjoy
  22. I personally like Giovanni's better than Jamie's. Especially Giovanni's Kitchen. Love the menu and pistachio dessert. And the complimentary limoncello was a nice touch.
  23. I just booked a cruise on Oasis the beginning of June next year. And we are taking our 3 grandkids. They will be 11, 11 and 14 next June. They have never been on a plane nor a cruise. And only seen the ocean once. They do not know yet, but will be so surprised when they are told a few weeks prior. Plus one is celebrating a birthday. Anyway, we picked Harmony with 2 connecting balcony cabins. Those were the last connecting cabins available on that ship and sailing. The total for all 5 of us was $7,304. It is expensive, but also a once in a lifetime thing. They live in another state than we do, and we don't get to see them much. I would recommend the Oasis ship. They are my favorite class. I personally would not want to leave from PR or Galveston, more of a hassle to get to and from. I also expect PR the flights would cost more? Voyager is smaller, and not as much to do. I would book asap if you are looking at spring break. Have a great time!
