  1. Not quite understanding. Did you take the Refund or FCC?
  2. I always buy travel insurance. And I bring 2 credit cards. And make sure they both have high limits. So far, have not had to see doctor on a ship. But have had to cancel 3 cruises just prior to leaving for medical reasons, and used the insurance.
  3. I was just able to book all my shows for Jan 28th on Symphony. Happy about that
  4. I also have celiac. Have never had an issue with gluten free food. And I have cruised a lot. Just tell the waiter, or head waiter, the first night. They usually will even let you see menu for next day and pre-order what you want, so they can prepare gluten free. The gluten free bread a few years back was horrible, but now they have pretty good bread and sometimes 2 kinds! They always have gluten free pasta, even in Windjammer. And they will cook it in separate pan. And Sorrentos has gluten free pizza. So I wouldn't worry, just have a great cruise!
  5. I was on Oasis the first 2 weeks of this month, December. You could not book entertainment in advance. I do believe it was for holiday weeks only
  6. I remember having steak and shrimp at Barefoot Beach
  7. USB port, ziploc bags, magnetic hooks, tote, sm wristlet purse, and notepad.
  8. You will have plenty of time. Try and relax and have a great cruise!
  9. I mostly book near elevators. Never a noise issue. I would not worry about it. Enjoy you cruise!
  10. I got off cruise last week and no changes. But not sure what might be in the future.
  11. You really do not need to check in for a B2B cruise. You do not need setsail pass or a boarding time for any cruise except the first one. You are already on ship. All I do is set up my credit card with additional cruises. And If I do not get that done, I just do it at Guest services.
  12. I have wifi calling set up on my phone and make calls all the time. No fees.
  13. Reg and Decaf was in Diamond lounge this month on Oasis. I have never seen a coffee machine in Diamond lounge that did not have decaf available.
  14. They used to sell cookbooks on the the ships. Recipes from various onboard restaurants. I had them all. But do not anymore. They were fun though
  15. You can use your vouchers the first day of embarkation and also the morning you disembark.
  16. You can opt out of automatic gratuities. Go to guest services and request. And easier to do the first day or two of the cruise.
  17. I have done specialty dining it an hour before. I just tell them beforehand that I have a show. It works out very well, without rushing a lot. Or sometimes I just skip the dessert and coffee. Or...take it with me
  18. It would be tight but could be done. But too close of connections for my comfort zone. In October we returned to Ravenna and took the cruise shuttle to Venice airport. I think our shuttle left about 9am. And it can take up to 2 hours to arrive at Venice airport. They do recommend to get to airport 3 hours early on international flights. 2 hours on domestic flights. Once we arrived at Venice airport we stayed at a local hotel 1 night and left the next day. The hotel was like $100, not expensive at all. We could then leave later from ship and enjoy breakfast, and not worry about missing a flight.
  19. I was on a cruise last month, and go on another this Saturday and have not seen this. I am sure many people do not need or want 2 services a day. I really like it. Am also sure you can request 2 house cleanings daily. or more towels, or setting up sofa bed, etc. Also perhaps this is only in Australia? Either way, it all works out and you can simply request your likes or needs and receive them.
  20. I use a travel agent and have always been able to change my rate thru her. And you do not have to wait on hold. Also, different countries may have different rules then within the US. There seems to be many new employees everywhere, including Royal Caribbean. So not unusual to get different answers. And maybe read your paperwork to see if it addresses this. Good Luck
  21. I go to venues all the time when not in use for their planned events. Great place to relax, read, or play cards. I like going to Jazz club. Sometimes special events or classes are being held but not often. Most public areas on the ships are open all the time. Enjoy
  22. Most of the food is very good. The menu in Windjammer changes all the time, nightly themes, with the basics always available. I am going on Symphony in January, have been on her before. Looking forward to it very much and I will have a great time.
  23. I have changed my rate, to a lower price, many times. I always have my travel agent take care of the change. They do have to call, but they call different numbers used by travel agents and seems their wait time is way less. Usually my price reductions were around $400. But I did save $1,800 once!
  24. I too have enjoyed the Music Hall on Odyssey. And also better than other ships for so me reason.
