  1. Another reason I feel it's becoming unpopular is because quite often they will now keep both couples on stage sitting back to back, whereas they used to take one set off the stage while the questions were being asked
  2. Royal confirmed weeks ago on their Facebook page that they'll be on sale on Wednesday. Rumoured to be on sale 10am Sydney time.
  3. I saw a screenshot of an email from RCI saying repairs are running to timetable and it's expected to go ahead. as planned
  4. Royal confirmed on Facebook in the last few days booking will open Wednesday 10/4.
  5. In December, I was onboard Quantum when we were rerouted to overnight in Sydney due to a tropical cyclone. The last tender from the ship was midnight, last tender from land was 0030 and tendering restarted approx., 0730 the following morning.
  6. Personally, I think the struggle with Quantum bookings is because not as many people want to sail from Brisbane. Especially international visitors, they would rather have sail away from the beautiful Sydney Harbour as opposed to Brisbane port, which is in the middle of nowhere and right beside a cargo port and a sewage plant.
  7. Forget it. As much as I'd love to see it, it's not happening any time in the next decade. Oasis class are too big for Circular Quay so can't homeport there. They currently struggle to fill Quantum out of Brisbane, so there's no sense in upgrading to an Oasis Class there. And even if they did, where will it sail to? Quantum almost exclusively sails to the South Pacific and the Great Barrier Reef. On those runs all ports except Noumea are tender ports. In 14 years of sailings, Oasis class haven't tendered, so I doubt they'll start now.
  8. For Sydney, bag drop open from 8.30-9.00. They will start boarding around 11am, however usually large lines around then, after midday they usually just let you through, and by that time there's rarely any queues. You'll be on the ship in less than 15 minutes.
  9. Reading reports on Facebook from people booked on the 2025 Eastbound Trans Pacific on Ovation to Hawaii that their Travel Agents have started received cancellation notices.
  10. Yes, they're still used. Yes, they're water proof. Yes, they open stateroom doors. Can't comment re. Drinks Package or Coco Cay.
  11. The photo certainly looks identical to the Quantum class, I haven't been on Oasis or her sisters so can't comment on those
  12. Summer 25-26 won't be on sale for a few months yet. Australian season generally goes on sale around Easter.
  13. One of the other sites. report Captain James MacDonald has been onboard for the last 4 weeks or so.
  14. It's been out of service for 6 months or so. Crew onboard report that one of the glass panels have cracked, and it can't be fixed until drydock in October next year
