Even if I lived on Royal ships all year long…no way I’d reach that level…actually not even Prime level! . I believe my total points are currently 226!! Is that sad or what?

I’m doing the connecting balcony rooms in May. My daughter with one of her sons in one room…me and the other son in the other room. It ended up being much more costly than my original plan of the 4 of us (KSF) in one balcony room…but…in my eyes so worth it for the extra bathroom and space!

I've been looking into taking the kids to disneyworld or universal but everything I have read online advised against it as there is not enough time. Wanted to see if there were other parents who have done it previously or are booking it this time around
I have a friend who did the Disney excursion from Port Canaveral. She said it was very tiring and they really only got to do a few rides because they needed to eat which took up quite a bit of time! The shuttle ride is also kind of long…so again tiring.

Everyone in my group live in RI so we are all driving in day of. Takes just over 3 hours when we leave around 6pm. If we get to the port too early we just park along the water until we think it’s a good time to check in. This time…there will be no one getting off! I’m just hoping there will be room in the parking garage. Liberty of the Seas and Celebrity Eclipse will have parked cars there already from their cruises that haven’t returned yet!

@SpicyCherry I wonder if the reason for no MDR menu is because our 8 nighter will be the first one on Symphony from Bayonne. If that is the case…just have no clue when they will put something into the app!

I’m interested in your overall thoughts on this new section! I purchased a pass for my May cruise to check it out…all by my lonesome! It’s probably going to be my only “me time” for the entire 8 night cruise!
I also have passes purchased for myself and my husband for our September cruise but since we are cruising with another couple on that one I’m not sure I’ll keep them. Unless, of course, this area is soooo intriguing I can talk the other couple into getting passes too! -

Got a new cruise director, he's different to the last one. We had Steve from Canada last time and he was way more enthusiastic. The one we have now, I think his name is Michael? Or Mike? Is also good, and he speaks clearly and is well informed, but he doesn't seem nearly as enthusiastic as Steve from Canada.
Hopefully his enthusiasm and energy will expand as your 10 days commence! Every cruise needs excitement from the CD!

The Lyft driver I had noted that many drivers will cancel pickups at the cruise terminals because of how long it is taking them to get there versus how much they are going to make. Since I've not ever tried this, I thought it was interesting. He offered to come get me on Friday morning outside of normal Lyft, but not only did this sound highly suspicious and his driving terrified me, I wonder if his story about ride cancellations is true in the first place.
Yes it is true. Our Lyft guy in November bringing us from the hotel to Maimi Port told us the same thing. He was actually talking about Uber drivers though…and unbeknownst to him…a few other couples at our hotel (heading to the Port) waiting for Uber had experienced cancellations!
Also, as far as all the college age Spring breakers…apparently they decided to “break up with Miami” (anyone seen the ads on TV?) and jump onboard to celebrate!

@RichRe01 Honestly, you should have no issues. They do not “Black Mark” your account if you purchased a Refreshment package while your cabin mate bought the Drink pkg. We have called almost every time we sail to only have one of us get the drink pkg (my husband usually) and never had an issue if I went to a bar to purchase a drink.

Oops guess I missed this one!
Just checked my cruise planner and it is still 40% off AND the price showing includes gratuity! At least that’s what it says!

I was just checking out Cruise Mapper and it’s so funny to look at Freedom’s meandering route off Miami’s coast!
