i was on the Eclipse cruise. One thing to note it was not the experience that I had thought it would be. We never got full darkness due to light reflecting from the ocean miles away,. Secondly, we were in some clouds that obscured the view as well. Although it was a cool cruise with Bonnie Tyler and other entertainment, I would have had a better view in my backyard in Atlanta. We were given Royal Caribbean glasses and were on the helipad for the "show".

I have used Jiffy Jeff shuttle. They run about 15.00 pp one way. It is a shared shuttle. I have stayed in Fll with a hotel with an airport shuttle and then shuttled back to the airport to pick up the shuttle. It is pretty easy.

On Quantum class ships where the lounge is seperate, can you take a drink out during happy hour to dinner? We are doing a Mar 2022 Symphony to Odyssey side to side and don;t want to get the drink package since my liver would need a break after a week.

Normally I would agree with this statement, but in Covid life, anything is possible. They didn't add rooms to Allure or any amp which they sold as Amplified sailings, the Galveston port debacle which they had sold rooms on and redeployed ships to cover, Odyssey cancellations through April, scrapping ships from Pullmatar that were booked. They have Ovation doing Alaska so I can see the thought, "Oh we have Ovation we can switch everyone from Quantum". I am booked on Quantum for an Alaskan sailing in a Grand Loft, so with my luck, the writing is on the wall.

Has anyone done a successful l/s from Empress to Odyssey? Both 8 nights, both Caribbean, April 2022. They also have some 6 nights on both Empress and Odyssey.

they also took the ability to see pricing by guest. That always told you what discounts you were getting, SR,c/A, or resident or Kids sale free.

Thanks for the reply. Here is my thought: My husband loves to look for whales and seals etc when in Alaska. Having the side view will allow him to have his "perch". We are travelling with my daughter and niece. My sister, bil and 2 nephews will be in another room. Having the extra balcony will be a little more private for all of us especially in the morning. I figure if she has the center one then we would have the best of both worlds. I have to go back and look at some more videos but i really like the center ones.

Thinking of booking Alaska with my sister and her family who have 2 teenage boys who would like to do it more than once. I was thinking of doing a corner loft and a center loft on 10 since it is Alaska and it is nice to have the side sceneary to look for wildlife, but the balcony on the center ones look fabulous. Decisions, decisions...

I contacted Royal via facebook and twitter and their reply was, Yes, it is included. Based on this, I will more than likely book and then make sure I have the screen shots to prove their "policy"

Looking to book a Quantum Star Class to Alaska but cannot see it in writing anywhere that it will be a Star sailing. Could you ask for a link or copy yo post. I would like to have that information for when I book and then they come back and say no it is not applicable.

Has anyone had any luck in lifting and shifting from a San Juan departure of Southern Caribbean to a Miami departure of Eastern. They have St thomas and St marten listed as ports? Looking to go from Enchantment to Harmony. Thanks!
