Hi @smap and welcome to the blog.  We too just got off Anthem this morning and are home in MA now.  Yes, we saw extra cleaning.  It seemed like whenever our stateroom attendant Roynald had free time, he was wiping down all of the railings and door handles on our floor (7th).  He looked to be using a water-based solution which was a bit sticky when wet.  But there was no smell at all.  This morning he was preparing all staterooms for fumigation.  He had placed the beds in the middle of the room and put the mattresses up on edge and against each other making sort of a tent.  I have no idea how that will smell when completed.  But there will be plenty of time for any of that smell to dissipate within the next month.  @plasticmasterGood Luck with whatever you do.  BTW, our Anthem cruise was great with no know issues.  It was our first time to the new Coco Cay and it was awesome.

Currently on Anthem and have had no issues whatsoever (fingers crossed). They did mandatory temp screening upon initial checkin, but that was very quick and also pretty comforting to know that anyone with a fever would be taken for more screening. Definitely an increased awareness for washing and sanitizing. All passengers I’ve seen have been very compliant and are washing before Windjammer, etc. Really have not noticed any sick folks on the ship! Just seems pretty normal. Stopped in Port Canaveral yesterday and no issue. Today Nassau. Tomorrow CoCo Cay. It’s been a great relaxing trip so far and prayers it continues this way! Happy, healthy and cruising!

You will need some form of set sail pass in order to get through security.  Either the electronic one from the app or paper one(s) that you print from the website.  What you do NOT need is a hard copy of your cruise docs.  The only thing we ever use from our cruise docs are the luggage tags.  Everything else is unnecessary.

@WAAAYTOOO Once again you have answered a question I didn't know and I neglected to ask!  LOVE This! I have been watching my DBP for my 4 night on the Mariner in August 2020, now I can make an educated decision moving forward, thanks again @WAAAYTOOO, your the best! Denise

You should be not allowed to enter if you do not wash uour hands or use sanitizer.  On another note if they sneeze or cough into their hand and do not sanitize again, it did not mater if they washed when they came in or not.
After you pick up food befire you pick up your utensils sanitize again in case your touched utensils that may be contaminated.

Anthem of the Seas boarding on FEB 23 had the three questions that everyone was required to be asked:
    1) Been to China, Hong Kong or Macau in the past 14 days?  ... No
    2) Have you (to your knowledge) been exposed to anyone from those 3 countries? ... No
    3) Do you have any cold/flu like symptoms? ... No
All passengers were being funneled through these quick and easy questions.
After that, facial recognition pushed us quickly on board (no need to show passports ... you have to be set up through the APP to do this).
The bigger issue for us was a number of idiots not washing their hands when it was required.  Walking through the Windjammer wash station to avoid both the sanitizer "spritz" and the wash station requirement (there was lots of room) was the gold medal of stupidity.

Never ever EVER look at the percentage discount.  It is nothing but a red herring.  Just look at the bottom line - what is the product/event going to cost, in the end ?  That's all that matters.  The percentage discount is based on the full onboard price and they never disclose what that price is, prior to the cruise.  Currently, if your Deluxe Beverage Package is $51 or lower and you are interested in buying the DBP, GET IT.  It's more than likely not going any lower than that.  Also, you must realize that, in addition to the $51 PP/PD, they are going to tack on another 18% gratuity, so it will be even higher than $51...but that's going to happen no matter what price they are charging.
...and finally, even if the price does go down after you purchase the package, you can always cancel what you have and rebuy at the lower price.

Make sure your stroller fits through your stateroom door with your sleeping child in it. My phil and ted's E3 sport DID NOT (it was BIG). This was not a good thing.... that was an inside cabin on Explorer. The suite doors are a bit wider. The halls are narrow too... So if you are stroller people, bring a narrow one, and use it for boarding and maybe for naps. y  If it's too chilly to walk her to sleep outside in the stroller, go to a suite deck to walk the halls, they are wider.  Cococay will be the easiest, it is a beach and/or pool day. Bring a small bucket and shovel, even if you just use it to rinse YOUR feet off.  I do not have a recommendation for Nassau for toddlers.  Port Canaveral, ... find something you want to do and take her!  Embrace naps... Anthem has a toddler pool area, it is very shallow. If you are not in a suite, bring a small blow up pool for baths in the bottom of your shower, or to use on your balcony. Toddler food is easy to come by, and the room fridges are empty so you have plenty of room to stash drinks and snacks. My boys are now very big (12 and 15), I never got to use a nursery on-board, they just were not on the ships we sailed when they were small. If you have a specific date night or afternoon that you want some time to yourself, go to the nursery boarding day to register your daughter, and request the babysitting times you want.
