  1. Most mom's are not going to want to leave a baby that age. I would go ahead with the cruise. It will be nice to have someone doing everything for you!
  2. Plan on a 30 minute cab ride. I would set your check in for 2pm.
  3. I wouldn't count on it, especially after the incident last week. If anything, I think they will be extra vigilant in enforcing social distancing amoung the non vaccinated (kids). They will be able to get off in Coco Cay. Freeport is mostly a waste anyway so I would either go on one of the RC excursions, or just stay on the ship and use the pool. Cozumel is the only port where I think the excursion restrictions is really an issue.
  4. They will have to wear a mask the entire cruise while inside and may be restricted from entering certain areas. They will be forced to take a Covid test at their own expense. If they get Covid, your entire party will most likely need to leave the ship at the next port after quarantining in your cabin until you get there.
  5. There is some really weird art on that ship
  6. Only Star class would be able to do that.
  7. Matt addressed AO in one of his recent blog posts. There were limited paper handouts on the ship so there may not have been an activities sheet. I am wondering what the kids club is like now? Adventure Ocean is open, but with limited capacity. The biggest changes are you register via an iPad instead of paper, and there are limited hours available initially. Very similar to how Royal Caribbean's nursery works, the staff provide an allotment of hours to register for on the first day to ensure everyone has a fair chance at booking time. On the first sailing, they gave everyone 15 hours to book, but that dropped to 12 hours for this sailing. You can book up to the 12 hour limit initially, and then by day 3 or so, they open bookings without a limit.
  8. They had some really good stuff last week on AOS. Blanton's, Woodford reserve.

  10. I recently switched to using a TA after years of booking directly or using the big box websites. My experience with trying to resolve cancellation issues with cruises and other vacations was terrible - I spent hours on the phone. I switched to MEI, which a lot of people here use. They a highly professional and knowledgeable about cruises.
  11. You should be able to see menus in the RC app for cruises that are close.
  12. We were dropped off at 11:30 and spent 2 ours in line between checking in/bags and customs. We still had a little time before the flight to get something to eat. It was very chaotic at the airport and I would maybe get there by 11 instead. Our flight was 2:40 on AA.
  13. Shareholder Benefit | RCCL Investors (rclinvestor.com) Everything you need to do is in this link.
  14. Based on the results of the Fl lawsuit, it might not matter what the CDC rep thinks!
  15. In Nassau? or a later port. If Nassau, then you check in at the British Colonial Hilton and there are stores in the area (downtown).
  16. We went on this tour after our June 12th cruise and it was really good. The driver was very professional and knowledgable. We did a 3 hrs tour.
  17. I can confirm that this was the case. We did take off our masks when we got to the beach/lunch destination.
  18. There were a few issues with it going down on the seas days. Its not the upgraded Voom on Adventure.
  19. RC excursions will have full mask use. We found that people in Bahamas and Mexico were wearing masks in most situations. Expect to be wearing masks when you leave the ship.
  20. I was told that this week was intentionally kept to 33 percent. The next 3 are planned at 50% and that they would increase from there. They did acknowledge that sales were very strong until the US cruises were announced and have decreased since.
  21. I am happy to report from Adventure that lobster night is just as good as always!
  22. They weren't vaccinated in Israel. It became controversial there and the government wouldn't give it to foreign crewmembers. It was most likely the real reason the cruises were canceled rather than the stated reason.
  23. This has been the situation in the whole country since the beginning of the epidemic. RC is going to make the best decisions they can each day to run their business. The best way they can fo this is to get their ships cruising with paying passengers. They will make decisions based on CDC requirements, global Covid issues affecting ports of call, and what their customers are willing to pay for. Things will change daily because those 2 things are changing daily.
  24. I doubt it makes a difference either way. The taxi will pull up to the hotel and the porters are right there to take your bag. At 50% capacity your bags will come quickly.
