We had an excursion to Bamboo Beach Club a number of years ago. It is a very long bus ride to get there and we felt the property has been oversold. Loungers were nearly impossible to find. Never again.

No, I really have no idea if you will get any C&A points or not. I can tell you that for our shortened Feb Anthem cruise, we received all of the original 8 cruise points rather than the 5 points, which was the number of nights we actually cruised. But we actually sailed, where you will not. Truthfully, I’m thinking that you will not get any points for a cruise that never happened.

Since Royal has cancelled the cruise you should get a direct refund.

Yes, you can definitely do that but you would have to fund the entire “new” cruise with “new” money. They would not allow you to use your FCC for the cruise from which it was generated. There is also a possibility that you would not be able to get your original room back. Something to think about, though.

Correct. They are offering no price protection at all. Future cruise prices (beyond the crisis date) are significantly more, for the most part.

Just returned from a mini-grocery shopping event. First time since my knee surgery. Surprisingly, shelves were pretty full. Everything but TP. We just laughed. We are good with TP so it wasn’t an issue. Plenty of bread, eggs, milk, fruit and other perishables. I’m grateful. Tired though. Big outing for me ! ??

I’m still skeptical of how they would even know. The form that they cite is for persons over 70...there is no way that they are going to require a signed doctors note from EVERY passenger. If you are under 70 and have borderline Type II diabetes, how would they ever confirm that ? If they are counting on people being honest....I have a bridge for sale.

I guess for once in our lives, Dan and I actually got ahead of the toilet paper stampede. We went to BJ's just before I had my knee surgery and stocked up on all things paper. We actually got Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, toilet paper AND beer AND water. Those items have long since been picked clean so I'm thrilled that we went early. #theupsidetohavingkneesurgery.
