  1. Yes, once you are "out" of a particular reservation, you have no further obligation (not that you ever really did...but just the whole "honor code" thing) to that TA. Any FCC's that you may have garnered belong to YOU, not the agency. The only issue (at least, it has been an issue for us) is that you may not have gotten all of the info on all of your FCC's. In our case, the emails with FCC info have only ever gone to our TA...she then tells us about it. So once you are confident that you have all of the FCC values and their certificate numbers, you will be good-to-go. ...and whether they will admit it to you or not, the Royal agents CAN access all of the information regarding FCC's if they are willing to do that. Last week we managed to find an incredible Club Royale agent (Jean) who took almost an hour with us to locate and quantify every single FCC we have. I need to touch base with @michelleto make sure that she and I have the same info. So it's worth a try....if you want to try and call Royal and see if you can get a good agent who will help you locate and document all of your FCC's. Then you will have no need to interact with the old Agency at all.
  2. I would definitely try someone new for this 2023 cruise. Your old TA has had plenty of time to act and she didn’t. Try someone new for this one and then figure out if you want to continue with your new agent or go back to your old one. As @AshleyDilloand @Lovetocruise2002said, the FCCs are yours - you can place them anywhere you want. There’s no harm in trying something new. I recommend Michelle Cunningham at MEI. [email protected]. All of the MEI agents are very good. Best of luck !
  3. Izumi is almost always open on sea days but I can’t remember if that is true for hibachi. I don’t think hibachi is usually open for lunch. Even if you have the UDP, if you order anything at hibachi that is not on the hibachi menu, you will be charged. For example if you want sushi when you are at hibachi you have to pay for that. The only exception is if you are Star Class. If you are SC you can order anything you want at no extra charge.
  4. Looks like the sale is being finalized Royal Caribbean completes the sale of its Azamara brand to Sycamore Partners for $201M | Seeking Alpha
  5. Millennium is one of their older ships, isn't it ?
  6. Not to worry. This is just some of that magic that @Matttalked about in the NAV repositioning thread. It's all good...
  7. Isn't AZ the one that was halted ?
  8. We are B2B Symphony Dec. 23, 2021 - Jan 8, 2022
  9. I think 13 nights sounds great !! I would definitely do it
  10. I'm not sure they really "hate" the cruise industry per se. I think it's more of a fixation on the cruise industry b/c, as @twangstersuggests, the cruise industry is the only thing they can fully control. Even if their control isn't having any positive effect on the plague (which we really can't quantify one way or the other), they can pretend to be busy keeping us safe while essentially, doing nothing. It gives their lives (and jobs) meaning. It doesn't help that the cruise industry became an obvious and immediate target at the beginning of this nightmare. The American airlines and other modes of domestic and international travel exact influential lobbying pressure so their limitations were minimized but the cruise industry does not have nearly that same level of political pressure.
  11. Wow....that sounds complicated and painful. I was hoping you would not have to do so much....but if it will give you the results that you are looking for, it will be worth it....eventually. Best of luck !
  12. Pre-COVID there was not a requirement to check in online. It certainly sped things up if you did check in ahead of time, but it wasn’t required. I checked in today for a June cruise which is certainly going to end up being cancelled, but when I checked in there was a banner that said that I would be required to download the app before boarding. I’m sure this is so that you can do the online muster drill but it’s the first time I had seen the app required. I hate the app and never used it before when cruising but I guess we will have no choice in the future.
  13. The “regular” suites amenities will apply vs Sky level amenities (this you already know). Who knows what will happen now...all of these answers are pre-COVID. Suite lounge - yes. Reserved seating for shows - yes. Happy hour - yes. Continental breakfast in the Suites lounge - yes. Breakfast in Chops (or some other specialty restaurant - yes. Concierge service - yes. WiFi - no.
  14. I checked in for my June cruise and found the same thing @twangstermentioned. The only choice was for a passport.
  15. We have the same thing developing here for those who choose not to get vaccinated. It’s the whole “blue eyes vs brown eyes” experiment.
  16. Are you seeing these "good" prices on bigger ships - O class - or just the smaller ships ?
  17. Interesting. They are only reducing capacity by 8%.
  18. Really, I don't think this was a real gamble. If the cruise sails, YIPPEE !!! If it doesn't then you either get all of your money back or you make 25% on your investment to put towards another cruise or you get to move this cruise to next year. I think you're a winner !!
  19. Yes, most likely the time of the year. October is the middle of hurricane season (assuming you are sailing out of FL).
  20. I hear Canada is very nice this time of year ??
  21. Rebel ! Revolt ! Storm the border ! Come live in Free Florida !
  22. I guess it depends on your perspective. I would much rather go to Coz, Roatan and Costa Maya than GC and Falmouth.
