Totally agree! Thankfully I purchased my items way way back when prices were reasonable back last year for our upcoming Oct. cruise. I have been checking constantly and if anything? Prices are sky high now compared to what I paid. I doubt I will come close to what I already paid. Problem is, I did want to add a few more items, but I don't see the items I want being any bit reasonable now. I think that RCG is just trying to make up for lost revenue and high cruise planner prices is one way they are trying to recoupe lost money.

Thinking about purchasing our 1st ever dining package. I don't want to do a UDP right now. Thinking of a 3 night package. My question is? Do you have to use one on the first night of sailing? I mean, is that required or is there any way to spread them out on a 7 night cruise? 

Especially now with later embarkation/departure, I sure would like to have the first dinner the following night or later.

Thoughts??

I'm looking at it now for our Oct 16 cruise and it says up to 40% off now but it's still been the same prices for the last few months! I've come to learn that whatever "their" percentage off states, it the price you have to look at! the 2 are never in sync!

Since October is still under the CSO, I’d still expect reduced capacity. I know in my Facebook group for that sailing, passengers from the UK have cancelled as well as some since the new testing protocols were announced. 

We have a balcony for our Oct 16 sailing on the Symphony. My TA seems to think we may be around 50% capacity. I know it's all a guess but the bottom line is, I don't see it as a full capacity cruise. Therefore it should be nice not having to wait for anything compared to a normal cruise.

There is no set time, just keep checking on the 90 day mark. You should be able to get a 1:00 embarkation time.

Yes! Will be our first time on Symphony! Are you checked in? We did so on Sunday. I wish I knew at what capacity the ship will cruise with? Doesn't really matter, just curious though

I'm so jealous! I still have to wait 87 days until Symphony and them May 2022 for our Alaska cruise!!!!!!

I just wonder at what capacity ships will be sailing at when we cruise this October? I keep hearing maybe 40%, but that seems low. What's the capacity for the Symphony??

There seems to be no exact science as to when the check in options opens. My cruise was 90 days out yesterday and I was able to check in with no issues. I'm happy that I don't have to worry about that anymore!!!

So excited as we are 90 days from sailing today on the SOS and I am already checked in! Feels so good that this is FINALLY going to happen. My question is? I am hearing that sailings will be at 30 to 40% for this cruise. Is this true??? If so, since the ship would not be full, is it even worth looking into upgrading from a balcony to a suite? Also, is this even possible since my cruise is already paid in full???

Regardless, I am just so ready to go aboard a cruise ship again!!!

Wife talked me into purchasing the Key for our October trip in 3 months. Normally, I would have passed, but we got it for around 19.99 per person and I figured the cost of the internet alone made it a good deal. 

Anyway.......

Does anyone (Matt ) happen to know what happens to some of the perks that come with the Key since embarkation times will be set now? I was hoping to board early, but I don't think that will happen now. I just received an email informing us that we set sail 2 hours later now due to new rules. Do we just miss out on some of the perks or will they make it up some other way? Is there even a way to find out??

For me? Ocho Rios has never been the top of my list. We've been there twice and just wasn't my cup of tea! Bahamas is another, but with us going to CocoCay this October, that may change.

Sunday is 90 days out for my cruise. When can we start to check for check-in times? I assume it will be a first come first serve thing now??? I also was just notified that the cruise will depart at 7:00 PM vs 4:30 PM.

Would this be only for Summer cruises or do you think they will restrict through 2021? I sail on the Symphony on Oct 16.

I'm in the same boat! Ha ha I have a cruise on the Symphony for Oct. 16 and don't know what to do. I hope we get word soon so that I can plan accordingly. If it doesn't work out, I would rather through my money towards my May 2022 Alaska cruise. I hate not knowing if this Fall is a go or no go.

Of the 2 resorts, which is better? Which one offers more than the other???

Like many/all of you, I'm REALLY hoping cruising resumes this Summer and beyond. We are scheduled to go on Symphony in October 2021. One of the stops will be Cozumel. I've recently started looking for things to do and since my wife loves beaches, relaxing and drinks, looks like 2 good options are Nachi Cocom or Mr Sanchos.

My question for those of you that have gone, do I need to make reservations ahead of time? I do realize that Nachi is a much smaller resort and tends to cap the attendance. I just had concerns about their websites might not be the most secure. Anyone here reserve online? If we get in early, can we just show up and get in? Just trying to figure which resort is better regarding amenities and should I reserve online or just show up?

I was hoping to see what you all thought about what a lot of us may be going through? I have a 7 night WC Cruise aboard the Symphony this coming October. Normally, I am one of those types that plans EVERYTHING early!  My dilemma is when it comes to air travel. I just don't know what to do? Do I book now, do I wait? If so, when do I book a flight? I hate having to wait, especially with gas prices, airfare, rental cars pricing going crazy! (btw, I don't need a rental car, just noting the insane rental prices)

I am trying to stay optimistic about cruising (especially since mine is in Oct) but I still wonder? Will it happen? I really hate this not knowing what to do! Therefore, I ask? What would you do!  

Another question then?? Will we have any 7 night or longer cruise in 2021 or will we have to wait until 2022 for those? If that happens, I guess my 7 night this Oct will go bye bye!!! DO you think that it will be 3 days cruising only?? I also should have asked, if cruising does resume lets say by September, will ports be closed or will it be RC excusrions only?? I know I know, so nay questions!!!! 

While I am trying to remain hopeful the May cancellations while "maybe" expected, still are very depressing. I am doing everything possible to stay optimistic. My next cruise is on the Symphony on Oct 16. I figure, just for fun obviously, what is your guess for the first RC sailing?? List your best guess with Month and date! Will it be sometime in 2021? 2022??

My guess? 1st week in September 2021.

 Just checked and mine expire 07/21/21. I won't be able to use it by ten as my cruise is in Oct.

I had purchased tickets to FLL on Jet Blue and was able to get all my money back (Lucky!) My return trip from FLL to Washington DC was on Southwest. Not so lucky there. They gave me a credit (voucher) that I have one year to use. I don't think I will be able to use it by then, therefore that money is lost. I usually on fly Delta as I am a Platinum member but for some reason, the flights from DC to Fla are always WAY more expensive from them vs other carriers.

I wonder if the same policy will apply if you are able to do a Lift & Shift. I was supposed to go last month and when it was cancelled, I did a L&S for next October. When I did that, I was informed that I was not eligible for the 125% onboard credit. Was bummed about that, but it is what it is. I hope that by next Oct, we are back to somewhat normal cruising. My wife is slowly starting to turn against ever cruising again.
