PhuckPhacha got a reaction from IRMO12HD in Coco Cay Beach Club Update
Booked passes for April 2021 this AM. Cabanas are just a beach...er...bridge too far.

Yes, if you call in they can override the calendar conflicts. I had to call to book my day pass since I currently have a South Beach cabana booked. I likely won't keep both, but I want to keep my options open for now!

PhuckPhacha reacted to WAAAYTOOO in Coco Cay Beach Club Update
This is precisely what I did. I want to be able to go to the Club, swim in the pool and eat some lobster but I have learned from experience that the cabanas are a waste of money for us. We just take naps there. So I feel like entrance into the club at $64.99 PP was a pretty good deal. The "floating" cabanas (I guess they have renamed them from "Over-the-water" to "floating") for us are $1499 (Anthem, Feb. 2020). For the 2 of us to take a nap that is just waaaytooo much. I am, however, interested to see what the Club is like.

Well, I'm not gonna lie...I prefer they replace it with the Bamboo Room.
@CGTLH looks like all 4 cabins 14126, 14128 & 14526, 14528 will share the wings as balconies.

They don't have the programming on the website set up to reflect that you only need to select one person to purchase a cabana. You will still have access for up to 8 people.

PhuckPhacha reacted to marti314 in Drink packages increase for 2019/2020 sailings
This new pricing is in addition to what they posted last year, this time upwards of 30% increase in some cases. With gratuity 83.00 a day for a Jan 2020 sailing.
But Wait, if they make each drink 19.95 its only 4 drinks to break even! The Math always works!

Settled on the Hilton for a day pass. Seems like the best balance of convenience and accommodations.

PhuckPhacha got a reaction from PRebecca in VIP Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day
Hello
My wife and I are booked on the 2/2/20 Explorer out of Miami and the first stop is at Nassau. I've bought the VIP beach day at Blue Lagoon as a placeholder excursion, but I'm really confused about the reviews I've read on both the island, and the VIP experience. I'm wondering if anyone has real world experience with the package.
Ideally I want a quiet place to lay around and ensure that I'm in an advanced state of refreshment. The idea of an adults only area is appealing, but again, the reviews I've read have a disjointed nature to them that ranges from "the best thing ever" to "complete rip off". It also seems like different cruise lines have VIP access to different areas of the island, with the best section reserved for Carnival?
At the same time, if folks know of a stellar beach day in Nassau, I'd gladly give you a virtual internet high five for the info.
Thanks in advance.
