USCG Teacher got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in Covid Vaccines for Kids under 5
I did not realize Pfizer's under 5 series ran 3 shots for the primary series! If that's the case, then @Atlantix2000 & @AspiringCruisePlanner would be absolutely correct. My apologies, I didn't realize under 5 had a different series with Pfizer than the 5-11 year olds.

For the under 5 age group, Moderna's vaccine is a 2 shot series using 25% of their adult dosage. However, Pfizer's vaccine is a 3-shot series using 10% of their adult dosage. This is for the primary series, not including boosters. In this case, I think the original poster's doctor has recommended or already starting giving the Pfizer vaccine to their youngest. I believe that means they need to finish all 3 shots to be considered fully vaccinated.

This might be something best done on board. You could talk to the staff at the MDR on boarding day and request that you be partnered with whatever room they're in. They're usually really good about those uncommon requests in person.

@Moby Dick is correct, for RCI's standards (at least as of now), you only need the two original shots in the series to be considered "fully vaccinated." Boosters are not required.

Plan on removing your hat when walking at the top deck where the wind is strong (on many ships this is the walking/jogging track, mni-golf, etc.) Otherwise, you should be fine.

Day 4 brought us to Alesund, and as you saw earlier the views are stunning. The landscape is lush and wild, and truly amazing. Our excursion today was Stranda Mountain Explorer, and it did not disappoint. Our guide was fantastic. We also lucked out weather wise because typically it’s cloudy and rainy. We had the most fabulous blue skies after the morning clouds burned off. Watching the landscape appear before our eyes was amazing. With the nice weather, and our amazing driver, who managed to hit the ferries that we took right at the point of departure afforded us to make a couple stops and some amazing viewpoints. I took 140+ pictures with my DSLR that I need to go through, but for now I’ll leave you with a couple of teasers until I can pick the best and get them uploaded with some better WIFI.

USCG Teacher reacted to Pattycruise in Ready to try Celebrity
I’m booked on Celebrity for later this month. I did receive nice OBC and had also hit an amazing sale for excursions a while back. I’ve now learned “the hard way” to not use OBC on excursions as when it came to a reprice on the cruise at a current sale I stood to lose the OBC, which meant a loss of excursions, which Celebrity-had applied a portion to each excursion upon checkout. I would have had to repurchase excursions at the current rate and a significant cost increase. So if the need to use OBC on excursions is strong maybe check out each excursion separately, so not all excursions are impacted should you try to reprice after losing OBC.
I also think the “all inclusive WiFi and drinks” on a European cruise is a gimmick and waste of $. Most hours will be spent exploring towns (utilizing my phone plan) and drinking will likely be at a minimum since off the ship most all day and the need to get up early and go. The Elite status looks like it included some sort of a happy hour daily somewhere as well as free WiFi each Elite guest-I think-2 days each.
no, I did not research this sailing. I joined a relative who had already booked and “just signed up” ( very unlike me) I share my experience so others have food for thought.

We are cruising in September and as a Reds fan I won’t have to worry about missing any important games I’m afraid.

USCG Teacher reacted to WAAAYTOOO in Pushy Street Vendors
Jamaica has the most aggressive street vendors IMO. The vendors on Labadee are aggressive as well but they're easy to avoid. St. Thomas and St. Kitts aren't a problem...or never have been, for me.

My cruise is coming up on Friday and I’m so excited. It’s a little bitter sweet at the same time. It’s fun planning and reading on the blog, watching videos. I feel that I got to know some people here and soon I won’t be on as much since the cruise will be over. Until next year I guess lol. But I just wanted to say this was a great find and I appreciate everyone’s input and ideas. Thank you to Matt and all the members!

I only speak tourist New England, but I believe you'd have to spell it "WorcestSox" then. On second thought, I see the PR nightmare that possible phonetic issues could cause for outsiders. Never mind.
Seriously though, MiLB is fantastic. I'm a 15-20 minute drive to the Trenton Thunder. Before the Yankees characteristically stabbed them in the back and withdrew their affiliation status without warning, I saw a number of Yankees stars rehabbing and making their way up through the system. Not a Yankees fan AT ALL, but witnessing greatness is witnessing greatness, plus Bat Dogs!

Excellent!
Some other possible improvements:
Rum Tum Tigger and Old Mephistopheles get fixed (No more Jellicle Balls for them).
The cast meets Feral Rescue and is adopted by different families, never to meet again.
Old Yeller visits Cats. Grizabella falls for a doomed dog and comes down with rabies herself.

Yes, as Pooch says - "Woo-Sox", but this is only their second season. Prior to that they were "Paw-Sox" from Pawtucket, RI. I grew up in RI. I like the old mascot Paws better than the new mascot Woofster.
I saw Mark "The Bird" Fidrych pitch at McCoy Stadium for the PawSox. The sox picked him up after he blew out his arm in Detroit. I saw many MLB stars play there over the years...

Now, I'm just a simple Mid-Atlantic type, but given the pronunciation of Worcester, are they the "Wu Sox," the "Wor Sox," or do they break all New England norms and just pronounce it how it is spelled? 🤔
