Another subject beaten to near death, sorry! I've read all the posts and watched a bunch of videos and you'd think I have my answer but am looking for your unique perspectives here. DH and I will be in Labadee in November, I scored an OTW cabana at Nellie's for a killer Black Friday deal. After the OBC and the Black Friday sale it was practically free! (Kidding of course, DH and I say that when we've splurged: practically free!). We've since upgraded to an Owner's Suite (it was CLS for a minute and I changed cabins for a 4th time, too much time on my hands these days) and I'm thinking we may enjoy an OTW at Barefoot Beach a little more, and am trying to decide if it's worth it to me in that I'll surely (?) have to pay full price instead of the great deal I got for the Nellie's beach cabana. What appeals to be is that BB seems less crowded, and the videos I've seen on NB seem super pretty crowded in the water where the OTW cabanas are, and I'm hoping it'll be less crowded in front of the cabanas at BB. After OBC and the Black Friday sale it really was a great price, do you think I'd have to pay the difference to switch to the OTW cabana on BB or do you think the concierge would permit me to just switch cabana's when they email? Any experience with 'switching cabana's' and if the price followed the switch?

We got an aft balcony on Navigator and loved it. I heard noise when docking and leaving but it did not detrer from the great time we had. Not even a little!

Hello @Alexandre-fan-de-rccl welcome to the message boards! I also have a trip on Allure coming up in November this year and we're going regardless of Amp. I've never been on an Oasis class so I'm sure I wont be disappointed either way! Hoping we get back to cruising soon!

I jumped to cancel all my CP purchases to get the money back in DH's bank quick. Did NOT see the CP OBC option coming. I was expecting the cancellation and had all my plan of action ready and moved quick. I know for next time! I wonder if it's upfront and can be used to pre-book excursions for the next cruise or if it's as OBC on your account after you embark.

My May was cancelled too, I feel your pain and am so glad you only have to wait till September, it's November for me. Happy cruising!

The general advice here is to not book a cabin less than you'd be happy with, and if location/deck is important then go ahead with choose your own cabin. I think I paraphrased that right. I booked a GTY balcony and got a great cabin so you really never know. Can you change to choose your own cabin? Another tidbit I've picked up is once it's assigned if you see other cabins of the same category available you can request a switch. I've not had personal experience but that's what I've read here. Good luck! The waiting for assignment brings a bit of excitement to add to the waiting! Checking the CP several times a day to see if there's a cabin assigned, and when there is QUICK! GOOGLE THE CABIN!! I love having a cruise booked. I hope you get a great cabin and have a fantastic cruise.

I don't have any Oasis trips to compare, has the price suddenly gone way over and above what it usually is? I have a trip on Harmony in 2021 and use this year's price to estimate costs, does it go up that much for next year?

Our trip is May 11, I've upgraded twice so I say go for it! I paid both times so not exactly the same thing, but prices were excellent. Upgrade if you can, that's my novice thought on it. Happy sailing to you, whether in May or later.

Honestly I've skipped most refund, FCC and CV threads, or peeked in small doses so if I missed this question I apologize. DH was given a cruise as a reward for his performance at work last year. We chose the cruise, DH's employer gave our TA their credit card info for payment, I've upgraded twice with my card. The cruise is booked under DH with me as the 2nd guest. Looking at Harmony, I hear so much about the Crown Lofts but to me the Owner's suite still looks more appealing- can you tell me the the draw for the CLS? is it the floor to high ceiling windows? That does look amazing but the stairs I think would be a pain. Decisions, decisions! Thanks again as always for your input.

I searched and couldn't find the answer, sorry I am sure this is a duplicate question. Freedom class ships do not get free internet with Owner's suite, correct? I have it booked and expect it could cancel but now I want to make sure I do get an OS for one of our trips in the next 2 years. I see internet comes with GS and above on Oasis class (I think) but believe I read somewhere Freedom class does not, right?

I had no idea Freedom was still sailing, are other ships that aren't out of the US or EU?

The OS became available again and our awesome MEI agent grabbed it, hooray! Being in May it may very well be a moot point but it'll get us that much closer to a suite for our replacement trip, if the need arises! It's been fun these last few days looking at suites that I've never looked at before (adding to Matt's list of things to do while waiting for cruising to come back!)

These are great, thanks! I've heard of others who really enjoyed the Regatta excursion, we decided it's a little too much 'work' for us if on vacation but I certainly see the appeal!

I've got 2 booked after May, both have remained priced the same as they were last year, if that helps any!
