Refund after voluntary cancellation
TXcruzer replied to Victoria Nadeau's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I have had several cancellations. I give them 30 days to refund, then I contact American Express and file a dispute on the charges. I always have a credit to my account working 36 hours or so after that dispute is filed. -
Frustration is understandable, but in this instance I believe it may be mis directed. The cruise lines have absolutely nothing to say or do about the resumption of cruises from North America. Until the CDC concludes its “public input” gathering later this month no one knows what is expected and what the rule book looks like from a regulatory perspective. One thing is for sure, 2020 will see no further embarkation from North American ports for any of the Major operators.

Passport Expiration Question/Under 16

I don't understand why you had to send the BC for a renewal. Every renewal I have ever done, all you needed was the renewal application and the old passport. -

Exactly right WAAAYTOOO; had grand-children’s FCC issues in their names; ages ranging from 4-15; they won’t change it.

Refund after voluntary cancellation
TXcruzer replied to Victoria Nadeau's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Sorry, but your assessment is wrong; one can cancel prior to final payment and receive a refund (always been this way), the deposit amount may or may not be refundable depending on the fare booked. (These are North America booking rules) -
I don't want FCC or LIFT&SHIFT!!!!!

CDC no cruise date has nothing to do with a Sydney embarkation. Just cancel b4 final payment and eat the $100. It's the cost of doing business. Yes, you are being entitled if you booked non refundable deposit and are expecting them to give you refundable deposit terms. -
If you are booked under the CWC program, there is language that allows for price drops up to 48 hours prior to embarkation.
-
Although a very generous offer, this is not allowed. At least one person must remain from the original booking.

TAKE THE CASH

Just call your creator card company and tell them you are being denied access to a credit, let them fight it out.

Hotel near Port of Miami-Symphony...

We fly into MIA or FLL, whoever has the best rated at the time, transportation from FLL to Miami is reasonably priced. We generally stay near the port, we are very fond of the Doubletree Biscayne Bay. -
I believe it would be difficult to get stuck, but just to clarify, The Abyss is not a waterslide, it is dry. i always get a "rug burn" on my elbow coming down but never came close to slowing down or getting stuck.

Do you have the Deluxe drink package? If so I just walk away from those receipts, no need to sign them.
