  1. A drop in the bucket as compared to their revenues from international banking
  2. They are currently manufacturing new test kits, and are expecting them to be available to ship again beginning in November
  3. No it isn’t, sorry, but it isn’t going to happen.
  4. As I recall it was in the $35-$40 range, and it is somewhat restrictive. You have to be careful what you send in, everything is washed in super hot water, all together (no separating of colors and whites), and is dried at the hottest setting possible Good for underwear, socks, pajamas, t shirts and shorts.
  5. BCBS isn't getting any money from the federal government for testing unless BCBS can prove they SPENT money on testing, they aren't hoarding some sort of windfall.
  6. I can 99.99% guarantee you you will not be stopping in the DR. Carnival Corp will not share Amber Cove with the competition.
  7. The white sticker on the lower right corner of the box where you found your lot number will have 2 dates, one is manufacture the other is expiration date, the expiration date will have an hour glass symbol next to it.
  8. Liberty of the Seas, Thanksgiving week, booked side by side JS, for $2900 ea. in July, recently got a $1100 reduction on EACH room.
  9. But those aren’t double points, those are standard points for each situation.
  10. I have done both, but more often than not, it’s in my carry on.
  11. We have taken this fan on every cruise for about 7-8 years, its awesome, and the clip is very strong, you can mount it anywhere and direct the air in an infinite number of ways. https://www.amazon.com/10000mAh-Battery-Operated-Portable-Stroller/dp/B08866RDYK/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=rechargeable+clip+fan&qid=1633185029&sr=8-7
  12. Or they could have opted to operate at a 95% vaccinated level, that would have garnered more goodwill from a large percentage of cruisers.
  13. A domestic flight is one thing, returning from international is another thing all together. Honestly, I don't know the answer, but it would concern me.
  14. I think you got bad information, Trusted Traveler Status is not a substitute for a passport, or other ID
  15. Thanks I need to be paying closer attention to my on board benefits
  16. Surely you would agree however, that the cruise lines taking the lead on vaccination proof and testing, did not occur without outside pressure. I don’t see that pressure being applied to domestic airlines, it was proposed last month and summarily shot down at the federal level. I am in agreement with everything you have posted, and as a healthcare professional am completely in favor of a system like the EU system (AKA Schengen Visa), and I concur that the USA has woefully failed in doing what’s best for the country in this regard.
  17. Hopefully you will be able to tell us in a couple days. My “re-check-in” is Oct 7, and I’d like to know how yours goes.
  18. Good news is, in an environment where sunglasses are required, masks aren’t.
  19. It’s really just public facing posturing, nothing more
  20. I had no idea Royal Up was a 3rd party vendor.
  21. Your initial bid would be inconsequential to the bidding process. What you or anyone else paid is money already in the “bank”, all that matters now is how much more money can be put in the bank in the form of upgrade bids. From a simple math and finances standpoint, all parties bidding for an upgrade are on the same footing.
  22. The third dose has nothing to do with a “fully vaccinated” status. The policy states you must have final dose of your vaccine 14 days prior to embarkation. This would equate to second dose of Moderna or Pfizer or first dose of J&J. Receiving a booster shot does not change your status.
  23. Curiosity has gotten to me: what Grande Suite benefits are you saying are available to you at the Diamond level?
