It's getting top heavy in the Caribbean, Royal seems to be reducing the number of ships in Europe sadly.

Perhaps Icon 3 will end up in Europe, maybe Barcelona? https://travelweekly.co.uk/news/tour-operators/icon-class-ship-will-inevitably-homeport-in-europe-says-royal-caribbean-chief -
Would love to understand why it's only cruises that include the Caribbean, but I've given up trying to understand RCL logic, and also their maths

We Will Rock You is on Anthem, it was excellent, Cats is on Oasis, apparently it's not so good https://www.royalcaribbean.com/experience/cruise-shows-and-entertainment/broadway-shows

One we're hoping is true, that and a smaller class of new ships

Athens Greece & Barcelona Spain Shore Excursions

On our recent cruise from Barcelona they did offer a 3 night pre cruise stay, it was very expensive (in our opinion). Post cruise don't remember any overnight stays, just the usual airport drop off options. -
Icon of the Seas has officially left the shipyard
Mike.s replied to CruisingSteve's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Bit concerning that it already needs repairs to one of it's Azipods -
We forgot to request one in advance, we mentioned it to our cabin steward on arrival, it was in the room when we returned from dinner.

She's made it to Cadiz, she's huge(and ugly) in our opinion. Sorry for the grainy pictures taken from Celebrity Infinity at dawn -
The European sailings for Europe are available, have to say the itineries from Southampton are way more interesting than the Royal ones. Tempted by the October transatlantic on Apex from Southampton.

Apparently they're reducing the number of infinate verandas and having more traditional veranda cabins, seem to remember the new CEO of Celebrity mentioned this in one of her webcasts.

Assuming @SergJ has booked in a country that allows repricing, many don't sadly.

black friday sales!! what did you get??
Mike.s replied to asquared17's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Managed to get it for £46pppn for our transatlantic next autumn, happy days. -
Thanks, good to know it's still there

Just noticed I can no longer browse other ships in the app, I can only see my cruises and have to option to add a missing cruise. I'm using Android. It was useful to be able to see other sailing so I could look at the daily activities. I can't browse on the Celebrity app either, is it just me or another Android v IOS difference?

Gratuities should be part of the base fare, leaving guests to tip in cash for truly good service

Sounds like Celebrity have listened to feedback on the recent changes to the MDR menu and are rolling some of them back. Perhaps Royal might listen to feedback and do the same?? https://www.cruisehive.com/celebrity-cruises-makes-dining-changes-after-guest-feeback/114720

Seems Royal is only intertested in putting more and more ships on short breaks in the Caribbean, those of us in other regions get what's left over.
-
From memory there used to be, we only noticed it missing when we sailed on Explorer recently. I'm 99% certain it was on Anthem last year when we visited the Fjords.

Wow, look at those prices, over $2k for 7 days for an inside cabin, no wonder they annouced good results yesterday.
