Probably not.  I know that you are still allowed to go to MTD even if you have the UDP but I doubt very seriously that any upgraded MDR options would be covered.  Just my guess...

That is a KILLER deal for the Unlimited Dining Package.  Congrats on snagging that unreal deal!

We got the Ultimate (now, Unlimited) DP last Black Friday for $129 pp for our Alaskan Cruise in August on Ovation, so, it is a great deal for us.  

Also, according to RCCL support, Wonderland is now included in the Unlimited Dining Package!

Not that this states anything surprising, but just got this email today.

I think we're still waiting on a field report from someone who's purchased the Unlimited since it came out.

Now if only the UDP would include room service waiving the $9 fee.

Amen...$35 at Playmakers goes a looooooong way.
If all the a la carte stuff really is included and you can visit multiple restaurants, the Ultimate gives me my favorite part of the Star Class experience.  I like being able to pick and choose single items rather than have a long fully involved meal.  And if I can sell them on giving it to me to go so I don't take up a seat in the restaurant, even better deal for me.

Thanks for your patience, Penny. Just to clarify, you can dine in any restaurant on your sailing as many times as you like based on availability. Specialty dining venues are also open for lunch on sea days with the exception for Johnny Rockets. So Izumi Sushi and Playmakers are considered a la carte venues. where guests will be given $35 food credit each time you dine. Hope this info helps!

LOL  I told my sister I would skip lunch in the Windjammer on port days and eat an early dinner and then "snack" dinner later LOLOLOL  Is filet mignon a snack?

Just got off the phone with Royal. In the phone rep's notes, it specifically stated that Playmakers and Johnny Rockets were included. So you can have wings as a "second dinner". ?

Understandable...I will be making reservations when I get on board, so that will help.  Also being solo and asking if they would be willing to make something and put a cover on it and give it to me to take to my room might work too..who knows. That way I'm not taking up an entire table for a single person. 
Windjammer is usually my go to but I like the idea of being able to sample all of the offerings.  I just can't do the 3 course meals..entirely too long for me to be sitting with food and way, way, way too much food to eat. I don't need the atmosphere of the dining experience..just the food.  
Even so..if I have to sit at a table at Giovannis for my meat platter at my scheduled reservation time, I am fine with that.  My table will be turned over quickly and perhaps they can sneak another walk-up party in right after me.

Popping in and out at a place like IZUMI or Johnny Rockets is definitely a possibility but keep in mind most specialty restaurants are fully booked during prime dinner hours so popping into say Chops for some Bacon App or Giovannis for a meat / cheese platter may not be as easy as it sounds.  

That means if a specialty restaurant is open for lunch, it's included.

I just checked my cruise planner and my ultimate has been changed to unlimited. I'm very happy because as a bariatric surgery individual, this is much more conducive to how I eat. Giant 3 to 4 course meals are really wasted on me. Now I spread out my courses of several hours and not feel guilty about wasting food.

with almost certainty they will just migrate the Ultimate into the Unlimited.  There is NO way the staff on the ships will be able to keep track of Ultimate vs Unlimited for what could be at least a year until the pre-bookings are over.
