I got sucked in.  2023 I have Adventure booked for Christmas (got the really good rate), so I decided to go with NYE for 2024.  It has a good itinerary (we normally sail out of Jersey so anything that isn't Nassau/Canaveral/CocoCay is good for me!).  I considered doing B2B but I'd miss my dog too much being gone 2 weeks.
I'm upset we didn't snag the panoramic suite in time, but we will have to deal with 2 balconies instead.

RCL knows there is a problem and they need to be working very hard to correct it.  Shouldn't be this hard to get what pictures you purchased.

Just wanted to update -
I started reaching out to Royal via Facebook Messenger on Sunday, and yesterday (Friday) I received a new email with a link to all the pictures I was supposed to have.

As a nurse who works in a level 3 NICU I find it very hard to believe that her 22 week baby was 2.2 pounds and is breathing on his own.

I would NOT do it on the boat.  Their goal will be to upsell you.  As others have said, if it is something you are interested in do it on land.

Just got off Anthem and ended up at the Next Cruise desk...ended up booking this as a special mom/sons cruise (my husband booked Liberty to Bermuda in Sept for a dad/daughters cruise).  I'm looking forward to getting to relax, the boys will be 11 and 13 and can fend for themselves while I read in peace.

We were going to skip 2023 and just book a big cruise in 2024, but this was too good a deal to pass up! Anyone else?

I just saved a bit over $1300 for 4 of us on a Canada/NE sailing for next August!

Just repriced my Nov. '23 Harmony sailing & saved $682. I'll take it. 

I know Matt made a blog post outlining the details of which sailings are excluded, but just want to point out specifically for those that just booked Alaska 2024, it does apply.  I didn't realize it until my invoice from my TA came back to me (just transferred the booking), and it was $1600 less than when I booked on Monday.  Thrilled with my savings, and extra thrilled now that I bit the bullet and booked the 2 bedroom grand suite!
I knew 2023 was blocked out for Alaska, so I just assumed 2024 would be, too.  This was a nice surprise this morning.

We do this each cruise, because my parents are diamond plus so we book one in each of our cabins for the discount.  Then when we get onboard we go to guest services and we get the right keycard, with the correct charging privileges, for each room.  An adult from each room has to be there to approve things.

Just booked for November 2024.  Peter and I will be celebrating our 45th anniversary while on the ship!  Super excited.  Not telling him yet...LOL...he thinks I am "cruise crazy"!!  What????  🤪

My experience was a bit different because some of my kids were in my suite and some were in my parent's balcony (thought we were adopting another child, so we had to upgrade our balcony to a junior suite that fit 5).  As far as boarding went - there wasn't a line when we got there so that didn't matter.  We never tried to get dinner reservations at Coastal Kitchen, which I was bummed about but I figured I shouldn't ditch half the kids. 
So really we didn't take advantage of any of the perks.  BUT - if it wasn't our immediate family in another room you bet we would have taken advantage of the suite benefits!  Especially if we were in a suite that had more benefits.
