Same with CT.  It took two months for the new birth certificates, but my daughters' birth certificates now have their adopted names and us listed as the parents.

I ended up booking a Peggy's Cove tour (one of the shorter ones) to lock in an excursion.  I was going to stick with Hop On Hop Off, but so many of the comments are about wait times and full buses and I don't really want to deal with that on this trip when we only have 1 port day.  I'm getting excited as I also purchased dining and drink/internet packages.   Not much else to do, but wait.

A passport is always recommended. The Birth certificate needs to be the official one with the seal. Any name change would need supporting documents(marriage certificate, etc)
If you are adopted,  the should be an updated Birth certificate. My son is adopted and he received a new birth certificate listing us as parents and his new legal name. At least that is how it works in Texas.

Options for booking things on Labadee are up (previously it was just a few boat excursions, now it has the zip line, cabanas, etc).  Only a 5% discount as of now, but I grabbed what I wanted and will watch the price.

Too funny!  This is a mom/son (13) cruise for us as well!

KSF saved us about $1600 on our Alaskan cruise for 2024.  We booked in a 2 bedroom grand suite as soon as it came out, and a few days later KSF was announced so the travel agent adjusted the price (3 of our 4 kids qualified for the promo).  That was a nice surprise!

Not an issue for us this trip as the Bank of Mom and Dad is paying for everything in both rooms.  🙂

We go to guest services with an adult from each room and swap out who should be where.  A couple weeks ago we had three rooms and had to change everyone around.  It did mess with the onboard credits we had, but we just gave a list of what credit should be assigned to which room and we were good to go.

We used to ask for just new keys. The last three cruises we actually changed the names in the rooms with no problems at all. Just go to customer service once onboard and ask.

We put tags on them, but didn't include any way to get notified when they were found.

That's one of the links I have been clicking.  Does it have the exclusions listed for you? Because it brings me to the same page the other links bring me to. And that page doesn't discuss KSF.

Last year I opened one to get the promo (10,000 points plus $100 statement credit).  Last month while onboard the promo was 30,000 points so my husband opened one.  We only charge the cruises on them (which I'll admit isn't the best value we could get for travel).  I don't use it for every day spending, but it is nice to have a specific RC card in the event of refunds - during the pandemic when cruises were canceled we had refunds for the same cruise to so many different cards it got confusing.  So now this will be the only card we use for RC, just in case.

The last masseuse did not honor her request about the no upsell which she did state on the front end and was pretty aggressive even after the request (per Mrs Fan).  She is an introvert, so has a hard time with pushy people. Now her mind is set that the hassle is not worth the reward. Shame on them.

Mrs Fan will no longer use the spa due to the heavy handed, hard upsell of lotions, creams and other products. She loves a good massage but will no longer use the spa on the ship as she says the steady hassling of the attendant make it more stressful rather than a relaxation experience that it should be.  Sad.

I don't know how you found this, but THANK YOU! I don't know if I'm just cracking up, but all of the links I clicked on had no info for KSF.  I've easily found it in the past by clicking on the exclusions link, but it just wasn't showing up for me.

I'm sure I'm just missing something super obvious...
If I click on the link on the main page, it doesn't include the specifics of Kids Sail Free like I have seen it include in the past.  If I search for it on the RC site, the search looks like it is going to show me what I need (I can see the general time frame, but not exclusions), but I click on it and it brings me to the same page I found through the home page.
Someone has to be more computer literate that I am...what am I missing? I've tried to click on the ad, and get to a page where I can click "exclusions apply,"  But it brings me to the same page again. I tried searching Matt's blog posts, but the results were from older promotions.  So really, I have tried to find the info myself!
I'm looking for the excluded dates. I know about the 12 and under and 3rd+ guests part.  Just trying to narrow down searches without having to just click through a bunch of cruises.
