@Traveler did a live blog on Rhapsody, sister ship to Vision while on a Greek island cruise last year.

I'm betting your Vision Med Voom experience will be similar to his Rhapsody Greece Voom experience.

On Rhapsody during a cruise on the same area the Voom was OK , no more than that , I could surf the internet easily, connect to my work VPN which allowed me connect to remote servers without any issues, did not had issue to upload pictures to the blog. but when I tried to periscope the quality was not that good (when I was connected to the cell network it was much better).
Regarding the key , another factor which you should take is how many tendering ports you are going to have , the priority for the tendering can help.

When in Europe different satellites are used for Voom on older ships like Vision.  My only Vision Voom experience is in the Gulf of Mexico and Bahamas.
Unlike newer ships that have the so called O3b Voom, older ships use geostationary satellites much like the ones used for most TV services such as Bell's expressVU or Shaw's satellite TV service.
The same company "Speedcast" is used while in Europe but using different satellites.
Consequently in seeking Vision Voom opinions be careful to consider those while she has been in Europe.

KenCP got a reaction from nanowerx in preparing to book a cruise, was thinking of using expedia for the incremental OBC offer they have. Will I still be able to view it on RCL cruise planner?
We booked through Expedia Cruise Center after reading a lot of information on this blog and Matt's videos on Youtube about using a travel agent rather than booking with the cruise line directly.
Our agent at Expedia has been great and got us a great deal.  We were able to use the cruise planner once she sent back the conformation from RCCL.
We have booked some excursions, Ultimate Dining Package, and Deluxe Drink Package on the cruise planner.  So you have access the same as if you booked directly with the cruise line.
Also, when you inquire with Expedia they will direct your inquiry to someone near you not a call center somewhere overseas.  That was my experience here in Canada and I was directed to a Local Expedia Cruise Center and have had many conversations and emails with my local agent.

For my cruise in September every option is currently showing, even single night restaurant.
I think it depends on your Cruise and how many people have booked particular dining options. The 5 night was not showing for awhile on our particular cruise but is now back again.

In my opinion, online reviews of cruises are worthless. They provide entertainment at best, but I sincerely hope people do not base their decision to book a cruise or not based on irrational online reviews.
I wrote a blog post on why online reviews of cruise ships should be ignored: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2018/07/24/trying-answer-the-most-common-royal-caribbean-question

After sailing with like 1500-2000 spring breakers last week on Mariner, I can tell you they really aren't that bad. Onboard they all sleep in, and then head off to drink on land where it is much cheaper.
