Delighted to hear that you made it !  Good luck getting any sleep tonite.

Your experience with the liquor in the cabin is the same as our friends experienced a few years ago - after many denials, they finally agreed, but at an outrageous price.  I find it an interesting policy since you can drink anything on the ship in as great a quantity as you desire, but they refuse to allow a bottle of liquor in your suite.  Perhaps they fear that people will request many bottles of liquor and it will go to waste...

Or you may share the liquor with others , and they give free liquor to others

Well this further solidifies how scummy Royal has become. The $79 price tag says “all day pass”, maybe it should say all day minus the first 90 minutes you are in port. They really should be ashamed of themselves.

Kind of reminds me of Disney World, with early access or late access if you stay on property

I just booked.  Got them both for $1300 total (which is still high), but the bonus is that I am able to fly out of my home city, where as all other flights of decent price were requiring us to drive 3 hours to the hub.  So, won't have to leave my car nor pay for gas.  I grabbed them, because I don't think they will decrease.

Great price. Spring Break is a tought time to fly, cheap airfare is hard to come by

We are on FOS and of May, and flights from St. Louis are in the $700 range per person.  So frustrating.  Haven't booked them yet, hoping they come down.

We monitored flights for almost 12 months from Minneapolis to San Juan. Best price we found was $1200 the highest was 1$800. Neither was a direct flight. Prices only moved 5 - 10 dollars per ticket, but stayed very consistent. Limited options to San Juan for this coming March. 36 days away for us until we board

Quick update for getting off the ship...customs and border protection have been overwhelmed apparently so they have stopped people getting off the ship since about 8:00-8:30 this morning.  The ship is still filled with people!  It’s 10:00 and they have only gotten to number 5 for tags.  We are number 21!  Long way to go

wow, I've never experiences anything like this in all our cruises. Hopefully, you don't have a early flight

I was considering giving my kids backpacks to the porters on embarkation day.  (Obviously removing any valuables first)  My kids both packed most of their clothes in them and thinking it would be nice to ditch the extra bags to enjoy the ship more

Is this feasible and a decent idea? or do they mostly want suitcases to stack etc? Lmk if this seems like a good idea or not.  Thx!

We did this last year and the porters at the Miami airport didn't say anything to us, so I say go ahead and drop them off

Yeah, I have no family, and they are far too big to bring to anyone else's house (we need a large yard with a 6' fence to contain them, lol). Kenneling doesn't work well for us for many reasons, one of which is that we feed raw, and kennels aren't equipped to handle that.

We always kennel our dogs, a majority of our friends are cat people, so with 3 terrier dogs (scottish terriers), they don't do well w/ felines, but our kennel has always been good at taking care of the dogs. They get play time, in/out kennel access all day, and daily cuddling time. We pay extra for this, but its worth it to us and we tip the staff, as well at the end of each of our stays.

  8. My son wasn't a fan of the kids program. He's an introvert and had a hard time making friends, since alot of extended families were sailing, so it was difficult for him to join pre-existing groups. He stopped going and just joined us by the pool, etc. . He really enjoyed that more and was less stressed out, since it was a vacation for him as well.
