You can cancel onboard, but keep in mind the refund comes back as OBC, and not a refund to your card. I don't think in your case that's a problem since you are going to re-purchase, but something to keep in mind.

I asked C&A about this a few weeks ago and they recommend canceling on board and repurchasing using D+ discount.   Suggest you email them and have it in email form from them in case of issues. In my case it's in reference to sharing a cabin with a gold member.

Great question, Wilson.
While this is the first discussion I've seen about cancelling for that reason (which totally makes sense), I've heard many folks talk about cancelling the package once on the ship.  I've even heard of people doing this after they've had a few drinks (they simply bill for the drinks a la carte retroactively).  As such, I'm eager to hear others' experience, but don't suspect this would be an issue/bad plan at all.

Had succes doing that on Harmony last year. Only issue was some how they got the pricing wrong but that was corrected (Thanks Raj).
Hard part was trying to get someone to understand what I was asking to be done and acknowledge D+ got a discount.

From time to time I see people asking about what drinks are included in the Coca-Cola Freestyle drink dispensers.

For those that are asking what is a Freestyle drink dispenser?  
Certain Royal Caribbean ships have these Freestyle drink dispensers.  See the blog above for a list of ships that have them.
 
Freestyle dispensers work only with special cups provided with beverage packages.  The souvenir cups have a chip embedded in the base that is read by the machine when you place the cup into the machine.  There are various designs that are provided.
 
When a cup is first used it is registered in the system and an expiry date is assigned.  The expiry date is usually a few days longer than your cruise.
 
The machines also function as ice dispensers.
Lastly, these menus were captured in January 2018.   It's possible that menus will vary over time and by ship.

Suggestion:
I just completed the post cruise survey for our 9 night Navigator sailing. The crew was simply amazing. We wanted to recognize each crew member that made our cruise vacation experience so wonderful. It was nice to have their first and last name to quote in the survey. We didn't want to leave anyone out and being able to refer back to the pics on my iPhone made it a breeze. 

I am currently on hold since I am having trouble booking excursions online and reading the fine print while I wait. I am already aware that the cancellation policy changed from 24 to 48 hours, but had no idea it was 30 days if your excursion involved the following:
"Tours involving flights, trains, special events, overnight stays, hotel stays and Private Journeys must be cancelled 30 days prior to sailing to avoid cancellation penalties".

I am currently on hold since I am having trouble booking excursions online and reading the fine print while I wait. I am already aware that the cancellation policy changed from 24 to 48 hours, but had no idea it was 30 days if your excursion involved the following:

When you do decide to go to Bermuda, don't forget that Bermuda is the same geographic level as North Carolina so weather could be iffy. My sister went there in April. It was cold and rainy. Temps were in the high 30's/low 40's. She thought Bermuda was in the Caribbean. :-D

Just got off Navigator this past Sunday. The crew was amazing! Our third time on Navigator, but our first sailing to the ABC islands. Our favorite cruise to date. Enjoy!

Saturday Night Fever was the Broadway show when we were on her last year. The Fuel Club was an active place for teens in the evenings. Not sure the age of your kids, but the Flowrider and Tidal Wave were a huge hit for kids and adults alike. If they are younger, make sure to watch the Cruise Planner for opportunities to interact with the DreamWorks characters. These are not cheap imitation costumes, they are the real deal.
We played ping pong a couple times and there were always paddles available, but balls were not present towards the end of the cruise. 
 

Received the email titled, This is a real treat: Grab this incredible offer while it lasts. 
The incredible offer was an increase of almost 10% on the Deluxe beverage package and Voom. 
Still Loyal to Royal, but...

Just checked and no issues on my end. Have you tried clearing your cache? I set my internet to clear my browser history when I exit. As a result I no longer have issues with the Royal site.

Thx everyone. We have decided to postpone Bermuda and will be doing Freedom 7 night to ABC’s and St. Maarten. 

I was speaking with a Crown & Anchor Rep earlier this morning (C&A points were wrong).  At the end of our chat he said he wanted to remind me of a new perk for D+ that was just added this month.  D+ now includes a free spa treatment !  Apparently this excludes Medi Spa so I'm not sure what it does include but, hey !  I had not heard anything about this anywhere before this morning.
I asked if this new perk is permanent - yes.  I asked if this new perk applies to all D+ in the cabin, even if both are D+ - yes.
It's so nice to have a new perk.  It's been a while !
