  1. We loved DSB (Journey cover/tribute band) and hope to see them again on another cruise.
  2. I can't help you with this but God bless you for giving a new generation an early start on RC cruising. Though it probably won't be remembered.
  3. We love the Adventure, having sailed on her 3 times. More so than Anthem and Brilliance which we also enjoyed. We plan to sail on Liberty out of Bayonne next summer (probably a B2B), Ill let you know then what we think of Freedom Class.
  4. I got one of those, the change being a new arrival time for my flight being 8 minutes early. How they knew this was going to happen 2 months in advance Ill never know. Air Canada.
  5. I have always, and always will, tip my bartender or drink server. And yes, it does pay off in the long run.
  6. Not to mention safety and security of the crew member and their family, all it takes is one person with bad intent.....
  7. We saw them on Adventure. Almost everyone (us included) who attended the first show came back to the second making it SRO. And yes they are fantastic. One of our favorites.
  8. Our Alaska cruises were 8 years apart. The way Mendenhall Glacier receded in just that period of time was unexpected and unsettling.
  9. We last booked Air2Sea flights through our travel agent. When we left her office that day we had a print out for both the flights, for 9 travellers, with the seat assignments on the paperwork. Those were the seats that showed on our boarding passes a few months later. We were all economy fliers. Both United and Air Canada.
  10. I've seen a lot of things that should be limited to once per cruise. I have a feeling most of us have.
  11. OK. Maybe we'll get off the ship in Nassau for a change. Maybe.
  12. Looks interesting. Im sure my wife will be reading it, she's into that stuff. Congratulation.
  13. Pickleball is really taking off, Im not surprised it's showing up in whatever fashion on cruise ships. Staying trendy and current I guess.
  14. This has been discussed here many times and not once has anybody self identified themselves as a Hog and attempted to justify their porkyness. We must be very special people.
  15. It was pointed out, and the driver slowed, on the ride back to Halifax.
  16. Well, there's something I'll be giving a try next time.
  17. Thank you! We are probably doing our first B2B next year and this is something I have been wondering about.
  18. Just think of what you get in a nice hotel, about the same.
  19. What a coincidence. I'm married to a granny.
  20. Hopefully they keep some shows permanently in rotation. I just can't get enough of "The Gift".
  21. We are in eastern PA, about an hour and a half from Bayonne via I-78 near Allentown. We are almost at the point where a limo to the port is the same price as parking there for a one week cruise.
  22. Us too. I had purchased water on previous cruises and got the 16.9 oz. bottles. Last cruise, this month, we got a case of the Litre Evian. I gave several to my daughter in the adjoining stateroom and still left 3 bottles behind.
  23. Yep. We have found this to be the case, if needed. We had packed one years ago and our stateroom attendant told us we didn't have to do that, they have plenty to give out.
