I've sailed the Inside Passage of Alaska three times now - we always have one night that's questionable (where sea sick bags get pulled out) and it's always between Vancouver Island and the actual passage - where the ship is more out in open sea. I've always experienced very calm waters when actually in the protection of the passage. (and to keep with the theme of the thread - Inside Rooms make me sleep too much of Alaska away, and I can't watch seals on ice floes whenever I want from an inside room.

I think the OP meant that they booked a Guaranteed Balcony and if they reprice they will be bumped down in the order in which guaranteeds were booked, therefore getting a worse location. But I'm not sure that's how Guaranteed assignments work. In any case, the booking number and booking date doesn't change, so I don't think the reprice would affect anything.

Nope, same reaction I have to the inside cabin even when coming from a Promenade View Inside (where there's at least a window, but since I can't see outside I don't count it). I'd take it over an inside cave, though.

This exactly. I did do this on my first cruise (Alaska), and lost a good part of one sea day that way. It really pissed me off.

Freedom has Cafe Promenade in lieu of Park Cafe (but they don't have the Kummelweck, as far as I know).

@monorailmedic did a B2B on the first two sailings of Celebrity Edge. Unless they changed their policy after that.

So they can require vaccinations for test cruises out of Florida but not for regular cruises out of Florida?

Both parties have to request reservations to be linked, so be sure you check on your side that you are linked with them as well.

Yeah, the last time I checked, the price difference between what I paid and what it was on my Odyssey Owner's Suite was $8k, so I don't even check ever, lol.

I just got into my Cruise Planner for my October sailing. I backed out to pick another sailing, couldn't get into that one, and now can't get back into the October sailing.

It's available for my October 24 Allure sailing. I had actually booked it quite a while ago for $17 pppd, however I canceled it because I just don't believe there's going to be enough value again until things normalize.

There is a charge for the NorthStar on Alaska on the glacier day, when the ship goes deep into a fjord and spins around for an hour. It's was the only time (at least on our sailing) that the boom went out over out over the ocean, perpendicular to the ship. Any other time the NorthStar was free and only operated up and down. (Hopefully that made sense. If not, have a beer and try reading it again in 10 minutes).

An altered itinerary isn't grounds for a refund. It's written in the cruise contract that they can change itineraries at any time.

I merged the two threads. I just checked again, and I'm now able to access the Planner. HOWEVER, my computer just did an auto update of it's BIOS system (so it says, I have no idea what that means and don't care), so maybe that made a difference?

They are still locked. Fortunately, in my situation, I have no need to actually get into them. I already took care of everything for my next sailing, and I'm 99% sure that I got the lowest prices I'm going to see on anything that I already purchased!

I've never seen him answer a question on YouTube, either. Granted, I may have missed it, but I see questions with no answers.

I feel like every sailing has it's own coordinator, and all coordinators were not created equally, lol.
