OMG, Sichuan Red looks good enough to book the ship on alone! I could eat like that daily and never get tired of it.- 107 replies

Nervous about cruising in September
SpeedNoodles replied to Lovelysmile29's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Keep in mind that it can also rain in the spring, too - or winter, or summer - you weren't guaranteed perfect weather with your first plan, either. ? -

Last minute questions before cruise
SpeedNoodles replied to TAK2019's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I see you are on Brilliance soon. There's been an update on the app so make sure you have the correct version. Do you see your sailing on the app? The SetSail pass is under the profile part -
Last minute questions before cruise
SpeedNoodles replied to TAK2019's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
In our last experience at Terminal A, the area for Lyft/Uber was an absolute cluster. And it's really difficult to use Lyft/Uber in Miami in any crowded area because Florida doesn't require front license plates, so you can't confirm you are looking at the right car until it's passed you. So in the throngs of hundreds of people looking for their rides, and the tons of cars trying to find space to park to find you in the space that isn't big enough, we just gave up and took a shuttle (Koala Transportation - large Sprinter vans - ended up being cheaper than a ride share). Just my opinion. -
For me it doesn't matter how rough or calm the waters are, I still get it. My 4-day last February was like sailing on glass for 4 days, and I still had it for 3 weeks after.

Carnival ships collide, almost hit Oasis
SpeedNoodles replied to Jill's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Of COURSE @twangster would have a balcony cabin on the correct side of the ship to catch this! Thanks for sharing! -

I'm confused. According to ShipMate, the Glory was arriving in Coz at 10am today. Doesn't it look like it was leaving? -

All I'm thinking as it's headed towards Oasis is "Hasn't she been through ENOUGH already????" -
benefits of booking a future cruise?
SpeedNoodles replied to Gerryp's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
On Board Credit. -
Yes, this happens to me after every cruise. For me, it lasts generally 2-3 weeks (I understand that this is longer than typical). Even from my 4-day cruise, which ended on Dec 6, and was only 4 nights long, I'm still experiencing it. I don't ever really feel the movement on the ship - it's only on land. I haven't found that using any sort of remedy post cruise does a thing for it. I just accept it as part of my cruising experience.

Rain forecast for the entirety of my cruise!!
SpeedNoodles replied to Cruisegoer's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
No. Nor is the Cruise Compass. I was on a 4 night Nassau/Coco Cay cruise 2 weeks ago - the Cruise Compass (and app) said it would be 82-83 degrees every day. The actual temps were the low 70s (confirmed by every actual weather service app that I had available). Most shore excursions (through Royal or anyone else) don't get canceled due to rain (unless it means the activity literally cannot go on - such as the Helium Balloon, perhaps). -
Fridges in the room on Navigator?
SpeedNoodles replied to Birdman325's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
If you need a mini-fridge to store medication, just fill this form out ahead of time and they will make sure you have one. There's a spot to check for mini-refrigerator. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs -
There are lockers available at no charge at a couple of places on the island if you are concerned.

Crazy! (it had to be done). ?

CocoCay Pools/Water- Heated?
SpeedNoodles replied to CruzOnBye's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We were just there last week. The pool was WAY too cold to get into, imo. Maybe on a sunny day with no wind, but that was not the case. It was not heavily occupied, with both Navigator and Mariner in port. -
Odyssey Inaugural Cruise
SpeedNoodles replied to LandstromCruise's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I know people aren't thrilled with Playmakers overlooking the SeaPlex, but I love that it has ocean views. The more ocean views in venues, the better, imo. -
That's fine. It's not as though I'd even know how to use them if they were, lol.

SpeedNoodles replied to Geoff P's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Unless you want lessons, you can't book time ahead on the FlowRider. You just show up. -

Odyssey Inaugural Cruise

Just go down to NextCruise, book it, and it'll automatically be assigned to her. She'll be off drinking with me (I suppose I should warn her of this, lol) -
Booking Flow Rider, North Star etc
SpeedNoodles replied to Geoff P's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
FlowRider is complimentary unless you want the hour (or several hours) of instruction. There are many open hours that are complimentary.
