  1. Exactly. Payback for the fact you pay for 8 days when it's a 7-day cruise You're supposed to be able to tell them you're on a B2B so they can do something about it but there's usually only one person at the gate helping people slide their cards and I don't have much faith that they would even know what to do. The terminal they use handles different ships on different days so they just program the machine for the length of the particular cruise leaving that day.
  2. Selfie basically. If you don't complete that part (or they don't like the one you submit) they will just take the photo again at boarding.
  3. At this point I would turn to social media or email. Usually they will get back to you via those channels and be able to get your message to the right people.
  4. They are larger than bath towels. You can take them off the ship but you're responsible for them. If you don't turn them back in they'll charge you $25 each.
  5. This is a messageboard on essentially a fanpage for the cruise line. I'm not sure exactly what they expect.
  6. How exciting! You should be able to see what time all the bars and dining venues open in the app to figure out where you can get your morning drinks and how early they are available.
  7. No prebooking. You do prepay with a card to enter the garage. Very easy and convenient. You drive in and drop off your luggage and then loop around and up the ramp to park. Remember that the right elevator banks will be where you leave the ship from and you board by the left elevator bank.
  8. Currently that becomes available at check-in which they are allowing at 45 days out.
  9. Not gonna lie..Wonder is a definite WOW. But I would be torn on making that decision as well since I'm a sucker for a good itinerary.
  10. Your partner can request the OBC as long as they are on the booking.
  11. Shoulder season..early and late..May and September months. It tends to be cooler those months. The mosquitos are massive in Alaska..but they move slower in the cold and are easier to swat.
  12. This cruise is definitely hitting different..no doubt about it.
  13. They are the only Oasis class ship that isn't currently equipped to use them. They still have the insert your key card style door locks. The rest of the ships use the proximity style cards that you tap to unlock the door.
  14. Sounds like you are having new ship issues with your room, too! They forgot to put batteries in our safe. 2 out of 3 of the TVs need to be rebooted and we had a collapsed shelf bracket.
  15. Shows are booked on the ship only currently. They haven't been booking them before boarding since the pandemic. Not sure if/when they will transition back.
  16. The Golden Room is a non-smoking casino annex. There's a couple tables and slot machines. They have a cashier cage and snacks.
  17. Me either. I'm being lazy this week and there's too much going on, so I wouldn't be able to keep up with a blog.
  18. Cafe Promenade is 24 hours and will always have self-service coffee, tea and water available.
  19. I remember seeing at least $100 on here a few times. I know I had several holds but I don't know at which amounts they rerun the preauthorization holds.
  20. You can, but remember that they will place temporary holds while you are cruising which may affect the amount of funds you have access to in your bank account.
  21. You should be able to check in for each member of your party if they are under the same reservation.
  22. Usually it's just a limit of one drink at a time, no time limit inbetween drinks. The refreshment package is great because you can grab water before getting off at ports or to bring back to the room whenever you walk by a bar. $18 is usually the lowest price I see it at. If you're considering it at all go ahead and buy it to lock in the price. If it drops lower you can cancel it and repurchase.
  23. Cruise Mapper is where I look. The direct link to the CocoCay port is https://www.cruisemapper.com/ports/coco-cay-port-392
  24. Midnight US time, so it should be 5AM UK time.
  25. No, this is just outdated Terms & Conditions. The ships have all moved to $13 a day.
