Shoulder season..early and late..May and September months. It tends to be cooler those months. The mosquitos are massive in Alaska..but they move slower in the cold and are easier to swat.

They are the only Oasis class ship that isn't currently equipped to use them. They still have the insert your key card style door locks. The rest of the ships use the proximity style cards that you tap to unlock the door.

Random Observations on the Wonder
AshleyDillo replied to PG Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Sounds like you are having new ship issues with your room, too! They forgot to put batteries in our safe. 2 out of 3 of the TVs need to be rebooted and we had a collapsed shelf bracket. -
Shows are booked on the ship only currently. They haven't been booking them before boarding since the pandemic. Not sure if/when they will transition back.

The Golden Room is a non-smoking casino annex. There's a couple tables and slot machines. They have a cashier cage and snacks.
-
Cafe Promenade is 24 hours and will always have self-service coffee, tea and water available.
-
I remember seeing at least $100 on here a few times. I know I had several holds but I don't know at which amounts they rerun the preauthorization holds.
-
You can, but remember that they will place temporary holds while you are cruising which may affect the amount of funds you have access to in your bank account.
-
You should be able to check in for each member of your party if they are under the same reservation.

Usually it's just a limit of one drink at a time, no time limit inbetween drinks. The refreshment package is great because you can grab water before getting off at ports or to bring back to the room whenever you walk by a bar. $18 is usually the lowest price I see it at. If you're considering it at all go ahead and buy it to lock in the price. If it drops lower you can cancel it and repurchase.

Cruise Mapper is where I look. The direct link to the CocoCay port is https://www.cruisemapper.com/ports/coco-cay-port-392

Midnight US time, so it should be 5AM UK time.
-
No, this is just outdated Terms & Conditions. The ships have all moved to $13 a day.

This is something I would check with Royal directly to get an answer since you have a unique situation. Royal's website states: Royal links to https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/after-we-grant-your-green-card/international-travel-as-a-permanent-resident for more information. From what I see you can go on the cruise with just the green card per the US rules but you are subject to the rules of the countries the ship is visiting which is the Bahamas in your case. The Bahamas requires the green card and a valid passport from your country of birth.

Johnny Rockets Dining Package; Soda Included?
AshleyDillo replied to katiedah's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
It is covered, but it is limited to the sodas that they have on tap at their machine. -
Actually, yes. It will be printed on your card and coded into the card. I take my roommate's card down to fetch coffees in the morning all the time.

Refillable metal ie. Yeti , hydro flask.
AshleyDillo replied to Garrie's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Yes, they are allowed on and off the ships. They may or may not require them to be empty when going through the x-ray machines, but be aware that they will have to be sent through the machines. -
The Suites reserved section was first come, first serve. It was the upstairs level in the balcony. With all of the social distancing measures they had changed the procedure to be that Suites were guaranteed entrance 45 minutes prior to the show to have first pick of seats. Now that they are relaxing those measures, it is possible they may go back to the old reserved section. You do NOT have to sit there if you do not wish to. Again, this was another casualty of the pandemic. If they bring these back, you'll be notified by a card or letter in your stateroom letting you know the times and asking you to choose what you want to participate in. And yet again something that I haven't seen since before the pandemic..they used to host a sailaway party for suite guests from one of the port stops on the helipad at the front of the ship.

No secrets. eMed emailed me a PDF report after I completed the test that doesn't have a CLIA number but has the icon on it. If you log into the Navica portal to pull your results that way it has a CLIA number. Same test..just 2 ways to get the results. eMed PDF Navica portal

When they do run the escape rooms they are typically for ages 13+.

How to book show reservations?
AshleyDillo replied to Nicole M's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Currently they don't have it enabled where you can schedule the shows until you board. Once you are onboard you can connect to the app and book shows that way or they usually will have a kiosk set up somewhere to book entertainment. Just ask once you get onboard! -
The CLIA number is on the report you get through the Navica portal. The eMed PDF has the CLIA icon but not the CLIA number. They've always accepted the PDF for me but I know how to get to the CLIA number through the Navica portal if needed.

Yes. They don't care who stays in which room. However if you upgrade to something that comes with perks (a suite for example) only the person officiallg booked in the room is entitled to the perks of thay room.
