I was billed $16 for a one-way transfer from the ship to the airport in 2019. I purchased it from the Guest Relations desk onboard. If you have an early flight, you'll be grouped with "Early Transfers". Otherwise, you'll be with, you guessed it, "Late Transfers"

I’ve used Royal’s shuttle to and from Miami airport. I booked it through the Royal website.

My Royal app always opens with this. I often get puzzled, "Did I book this?"

Seeing the cruise industry big wigs on the Today Show is very encouraging!

Without the meters, there would be no tangible and quantifiable proof of chair hogging. Another idea would be color coded tags that indicate hours. For example, a blue tag means you occupied the chair at 10AM. By 12 noon, crew can approach you to ask you to give up the chair for others. That’s a 1-2 hour period of time you’ve occupied the chair.

I have three right now: Odyssey of the Seas - Nov 15-Nov 20 Odyssey of the Seas - Nov 20 -Nov 28 Freedom of the Seas - Nov 29 - Dec 3 I've contacted my travel agent, @StephanieH, to change the second Odyssey booking to one on the Radiance. That's one more ship to cross out on my bucket list. I haven't given up on my desire to sail on all the Royal ships in the fleet. The Radiance bearing the name of the class makes it extra sweet. OFF-TOPIC: What do you call a ship after which a class is named? A flagship?

I agree. But I believe the test cruises will be by invitation or under heavy screening, having only the passengers with the least vulnerability to COVID.

My contacts from the Philippines are telling me that rehiring is still on hold for them. We know from the Flag Parades that Filipinos comprise a big percentage of crew members.

With all these varying restrictions and quarantine protocols in different port cities, a cruise to nowhere is the only "safe" alternative as far as disruptions to the cruising experience is concerned. But then there is the issue about the law regarding US and foreign ports (I forgot the name of it). What are we cruise addicts to do???

They’re classified as “Spacious” Ocean View rooms, I think. Still on the fence about upgrading to those rooms from an interior cabin.
