Yeah, that’s what I think too. He hasn’t had any recent symptoms so when he did the pre-boarding questionnaire today, he answered yes to the first two questions (Covid vaccination questions) and no to the second two questions. My concern is if he has to fill out a more extensive health questionnaire at the port, and they ask him if he’s been symptomatic in the past 14 days, he will say yes (he will answer this question truthfully).  At that point, they will most likely deny him boarding. Bummer.   This will affect only him and his wife. We do not live in the same cities.

The only thing they ask at the port is if anything has changed since filling out the questionnaire the day before.  No other questions, no hassles.

We had some more communication with Derick. Dining schedule is set, I've ordered some things to help with the cakes. The only thing left is the show planner that he said he would send out on Saturday when all the show times are fully finalized.

The only communication I've had with our Genie on our 2/19 sailing is that he is reserving all the specialty dining for us and would have seats for us for the shows...Being our first SC sailing maybe I'm doing something wrong or is that pretty normal?

Sitting at the firehouse today and I got to thinking. I need to reach out to a theoretical physicist to study the inverse relationship between perceived time during the week before a cruise, and the week actually spent on the cruise.......

    season 6 friends GIF

I need to make it through todays shift, and one more on Thursday and I'm on vacation.

I feel your pain,  I have 3 more nights  to work before I'm on vacation.  3 very, very, very long nights.  LOL

We’ll have to wait until somebody sailing SC can report back about this particular situation, but my initial guess would be, no…SC would not be charged for any additional tails.  Just a guess though until somebody pushes that button.

Ill gladly push that button in the name of research on our upcoming SC sailing.   Are we talking going to the MDR and ordering additional tails?

We are home in Austin (Pflugerville).  We were able to walk off with our luggage at 7:45am and never stopped walking until we had to pause a second at the facial recognition scanners for customs.  Very easy.  We were parked very close to the terminal in the covered North Lot so we were at our car quickly and on our way.

The new terminal is definitely designed better than the old one in Galveston.

Now we need to rest up from our vacation the rest of the day before getting back to work/school tomorrow.🙁

UGH, going back to work the day after is no fun.  This year I took off 3 extra days after the cruise.

Finally pulled the trigger on a cruise that includes Roatan. Fiancé doing backflips. She's an animal lover but over the top sloth maniac! She's asking questions I don't have answers to.  I could use any intel possible about what it takes to get a substantial interactive encounter with one. I take it there are more than one facility to get to hold them. Which would you suggest or say steer clear of? Any must do things? How about no no's? I know nothing about them at all. Like what do they eat? How long do they live? Any intel would be deeply appreciated...

We actually booked an excursion with Daniel Johnson's on our cruise to Roatan.  We are suppose to have a private driver pick us up and take us where we want to go for the day including snorkeling.

You will arrange for a boarding time with your Genie…and they will arrange for you to board first, barring some extraordinary delay.  Last month @twangster, Dan and I were the first to board the ship when boarding began.

Did you still have to select a time when doing the check in on the app and the Genie just overrides it?

During Check-in if you use the same CC for all guests, anything charged on the ship will be billed to that CC.

If you use different CC's for each guest checked in, charges to the individual seapass card will go the the appropriate CC associated with each guest.

That's what I was looking for right there.  My wife and I just use one card but our kids are cruising with us and I didn't realize it would separate those charges.  Being that they are adults now that will make life easier.  Thank you!
