Are there cheap places in Mahahual to just grab a beach chair and enjoy the beach? I am hoping for something where I can just walk up and get a lounger, without having to make reservations. I don't care about all inclusive drinks and food, just a place to park my carcass.

I thought the same thing when I saw the price.

I thought Captain MacDonald just manually signaled by hanging his arm out the window. -
In Juneau book Coastal Helicopter to fly you out to the glacier. Fantastic. It's expensive. but worth it. If you book directly through Coastal instead of RC you can save a lot of money.

Please report back to us when you return about Maya Chan. I am considering visiting there in November.

I am thinking about rescheduling my Adventure OTS cruise until next year. The prices are very attractive and would allow me to move up to a grand suite or even an owner's suite. When I look at the deck plan I see that all of these premium suites are on deck 10, right below the pool deck. Choosing one of these suites goes against all of the rules I have been taught about cabin location. Surely all of these high prices cabins are not in terrible locations. Should I pick one of these suites? I have never been in a suite before and don't know if this is a good move.

This is a question to fellow board member that have cruised since the restart. Since the recent change in CDC recommendations of who should avoid cruising I have been thinking. Many of the categories of people in the list of people "At Increased Risk for Severe Illness" are the stereotypical cruisers. We know that cruising has restarted, with temporary changes such as reduced capacity, with only a few outbreaks on RC ships. What are the demographics, with respect to the CDC's list, of the people currently on ships, enjoying themselves and not wholesale contracting the disease?

CDC Warning for High Risk Passengers

According to my calculations that leaves enough people in the US who should cruise almost fill up a bass boat. But it had better be a small one. -
She'll definitely be bow-wowed. ?

I was looking for RC Panama canal cruises. It seems that there are only two now, both eastbound on Oct 1, 2021 and Oct 2, 2022. That's it. How does the ship get back to the Pacific to do the 2022 cruise? Does it cruise around the south of South American, go around the north of Canada, or just sprout wings and fly? What am I missing?

Has anyone noticed that it is slightly cheaper to buy two Grandes instead of 1 Imperial? -

My checkin opened today and I did it at about 7:30am. I was able to grab the 1:00-1:30pm checkin slot. -
Medical Insurance requirements
stevendom57 replied to Planeprincess's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I have talked to several representatives with BCBS and they assured me that my medical insurance policy was valid overseas. Of course, different policies have different coverages, so check with yours. Call several time days apart so that you get different representatives so that you minimize the chances of getting a rep without a clue. Having said that, with the Covid mess I am probably going to buy an annual policy anyway because once cruising really gets cranked up, I am going to be a'sailing. -
+1 on the NASA Hilton. Nice hotel for a good price.

Did you do independent tours or did you go with RC tours?

Fly into Hobby if possible. Stay in the Clear Lake/Webster area because the hotels are much cheaper there. Take an Uber to the port.

Congratulations. I presume that these test cruises are free? Do you earn C&A points for them?

Royal App Missing Next Cruise
stevendom57 replied to stevendom57's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I am missing something because I do not see this option in the app on my Android phone. -
I have a number of cruises booked. I booked them out of order, e.g.: Mar 2022, then Oct 2022, then Nov 2021, etc. All of the cruises show up properly on the web site. When I look at the Royal App on my phone the only cruise showing up is my second one (Mar 2022). Is there any way to get the app to show the next cruise in line, the Nov 2021 one? Thanks Steven

Is there Gluten Free Food Available at CocoCay?
stevendom57 replied to Amanda92's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Before the shutdown my wife talked to the head waiter at the MDR. She told him that she was going to Cococay the next day. He told her that he would make sure that a GF hamburger bun would be therewith her name on it. It was. -
allure returns in 2026 All Things Galveston
stevendom57 replied to Galveston Steve's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I agree with the need to replace Sabor. While a Tex-Mex specialty restaurant ($$) may be appealing when sailing out of Seattle, Bayonne, or even Miami, but it really doesn't rank very highly when sailing out of Tex itself. It was empty every time I went by when I sailed pre-Covid. I hope it is happening. The rest of the ship is great. I would cruise with her again in a heartbeat.- 965 replies
