  1. Has anyone stayed in a Hump cabin and especially 9338?
  2. Now I understand what the Royal Caribbean Blog is all about - it's a support group for Cruiseaholics.
  3. This is a very timely topic since I am porting out of San Juan for the next two cruises. Where are the great hotels to stay at when going out of San Juan?
  4. I got stuck going on a Carnival Cruise to attend my son's wedding as they got married in Grand Cayman last year (2017) and I didn't, at the time, have any interest on going on a cruise. My wife,on the hand, loved the thought of it and planned everything; as I didn't want to know a thing other than to show up. Well I loved it and I think I have an issue now - I think I have become a cruiser - I now have three cruises set-up for the next three years out to 2020, two of which will be on the Freedom of the Seas out of Puerto Rico. The other day I was contemplating my 2020 cruise when I looked at an ABC Island Cruise (March 08, 2020), with St. Thomas included on the way back, and saw a Hump Cabin - JR Suite 9338 was available...did some research, and deck reviewing, along with reading peoples opinions, and thought it looks cool so lets do it. I leaned over and asked my wife if she wanted this cruise and she said, I don't care, lets just go on a cruise . By the way, these Cruises on the FOTS are 5 months apart from each other. I should become familiar with the ship on these two events. So, do I have a problem now or what?
  5. Cool Hand Luke - great movie but not from the younger crowd.
  6. That was a good article and she seems to be a real fun person. When I saw pictures of her cat it reminded me of an episode of Friends when Rachel gets that Sphynx cat and Joey keeps saying, "it's not a cat." It does look funny.
  7. That was an awesome review...thanks for taking the time to write it all up. I am always amazed at what I can learn off this blog site based upon the small amount of cruising that I have done to date. So much to learn and I appreciate those that take the time to school us newbies.
  8. It's now May 2018 and I am still waiting for the 2020 schedule to get populated. Does anyone have any updates for the 2020 schedule?
  9. That's why I chose it. It will be my third cruise overall, and first on Royal Caribbean, so there is a lot to learn.
  10. nope - Just Timmy - You have to say it like Timaaaayyyyy ?

  12. I guess I have spent enough time lurking so I might as well introduce myself. My name is Tim...I never saw myself as a cruiser, and if it were not for my Son and now Daughter-In-Law's wanting a destination wedding (they live in Alaska), I probably never would have gone. In fact, I hated the very thought so much that I gave myself an out of flying back right after the wedding if I wanted to; even bought the ticket. It was on the Carnival Splendor going to Grand Cayman (where they got married), Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. I think my wife was really waiting to see what I would do; stay or fly back after the wedding - no matter what she was staying on the cruise. But, I liked it and thought of planning our next one as soon as we got back. While we were in Belize we were parked next to a Royal Caribbean Ship, don't remember which one, other than I said wow, look at that ship. I started researching RCI cruises and already signed up for one for September 29th, 2019 out of San Juan Puerto Rico on Freedom of the Seas - St. Maarten, St, Kitts, Antigua, St. Lucia, and Barbados. We got a really good deal on a Grand Suite which is a huge step up from the Balcony we had on Carnival so we booked it. I am now looking forward to booking one for 2020, probably a December cruise to the ABC islands (the only reason I know ABC is from reading this forum) Looking forward to learning from the group on what to do on the cruises.
